My father is a retailer, i have always aspired to build a FMCG Company. A superb talk. Viraj has a very down to earth approach with no airs about him for his outstanding achievement. His insights in building a business and the nitty gritties of operations were illuminating. I love Veeba sauces and impressed by its range

This is genuinely one of your best podcasts and the founder himself was keenly explaining how he built the brand from scratch couldnt stop myself from watching it in one go
Thanks team for such efforts . I am commenting on at 37:22. I never listen to such detailing and even can't imagine if the manufacturing is so difficult...
Thank you, Ganesh and Viraj, for this fantastic podcast! Viraj Sir, your insights into the food industry were truly inspiring. It's amazing to hear about the work you're doing and the philosophy that Veeba follows. You've set a powerful example of how a strong brand is built, and it’s something our country can truly be proud of
I have been intrigued by veeba for a long time. Thanks for bringing this perspective. Eyeopener for everyone. so many more learnings in distribution, how b2c works.
This 2-hour long podcast didn’t bore me; it was so interesting. Viraj is such a fervent entrepreneur. Ganesh, keep bringing more great podcasts like this!

Thanx Ganesh for bringing Viraj & asking the right questions and Thanx Viraj for being so frank & brave in answering honestly & candidly !! What an amazing podcast! Viraj's depth of knowledge truly shines through in his responses, and his achievement in building a 1000 crore brand speaks for itself on top of that Ganesh's insightful questions perfectly captured Viraj's real-world experiences, drawing out valuable lessons that only come from hands-on learning, not from books.
This video's title should be '120 minute MBA'! Every aspiring entrepreneur must watch it not just once but 100 times to get priceless and practical insights. Thanks a lot Ganesh for bringing Viraaj :)
What an amazing podcast. I have learnt each and every concept during my MBA days and this podcast felt like a recap session. Everything was spot on. Kudos to the Think School team and Viraj Sir. This is the best and most insightful business podcast i ever came across.
Hello Ganesh, Fantastic podcast. Thankful as always. It’s always fascinating to hear from the person himself than a case study . So much insight. Viraj Sir , hats off to you.
Brilliant one! Superb content. Great learnings. Each 5-6 minute has a note-worthy point. Viraj is such a sportsman; without any insecurity, he answered all the questions in the greatest depths possible. Many kudos to your well framed questions that brought such note-worthy insights to us. 😊
This is one company that I knew nothing about. I bought a mint mayo from the super market and I fell in love with their product. I gloated with my friends on the product and all of them are customers. Congrats to the owner for making one of my favourite Indian brands. I was also reminded of all those Marketing texts at MBA towards the end. This was so Philip Kotler. Lovely conversation.
Thank you for bringing the Veeba story from the founder himself. I have been a loyal Veeba customer since 2018 . I have moved to the US since 3 years - and without fail I carry their sauces each time I travel to India or ask a friend to get them for me. US market does not have good sauces which does not have egg and Veeba fills that need for me.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that our sauces have become a staple for you, even in the US. Your support means a lot to us! 🙌🏻
Yes even in Europe we don’t have much brands for vegan/vegetarian consumers, I got to know this brand only by this podcast (12 years ago moved to Europe) I will also carry when I visit India this time
Viraj has the Food Taste idea of PPL I think he should start a Food Outlet where he can Make Healthy Diet Food Along with his Innovative Sauces And dips idea. I think it will be a Boom business. As Tier 1-2 Cities are going for Healthy Diet and foods to eat .
Really good content, elaborate enough to cover all the aspects while short enough not to loose interest. Worth spending 2 hrs (1.25 x speed) of my time. Thank you all @thinkschool for your efforts. Keep creating more on these lines!
Ganesh, you hit the ball out of the park with this podcast. Hope to see many more insightful videos where you invite founders and disect their business. This one was really interesting. Also your voice quality is amazing. It is extremely captivating and has the power to hold a person's attention. Good luck to you.
This podcast is incredibly insightful. I have great respect for Mr. Viraj for sharing his extensive knowledge with such clarity and simplicity. Really enjoyed the conversation.
this is the most useful podcast i have ever come across. i had so many questions relating to distribution and RnD. Mr. Viraj has explained everything so detailed i am just blown away. this is a must for everyone starting a manufacturing unit. I am really really greatful of this podcast. i have a little selfish demand also is it is possible if you could bring in someone who could suggest how to automate the retail market, with all the liquid cash coming in how could you trust someone else to sit and still control its function while expanding business??
I love what is happening in India today. It can't happen fast enough. Hearing stories of rare diseases and grinding poverty throw a dark shadow across the sub-continent. I feel like India will make a strong comeback (better than its days as an English colony) and become a place that is safe, clean and desirable for tourists all over the world. More importantly, Indians themselves will choose to stay there and the US won't be the ultimate destination for success.
I am writing this based on my analysis of a successful business. If you have a great product like Viraj had, then it doesn't matter if he was running that business on the 3rd floor or deep inside a slum. In the food business taste is everything. If your product tastes good then it will be a success sooner or later. If you cannot keep your overheads at a bare minimum during the struggling phase then make sure that you have deep pockets at the beginning. Price is the next factor. If people are not eating your great product then ensure that more and more people eat it, even if it means that you have to give it for free.
U r Gr8 Mr.Viraj. Inspirational story. Thank u Mt. Ganesh. (I am Puneri. Watched ur episode from Canada) I pray Veeba becomes MNC with 50k Crore Co. My wife started using this Salad dressing in 2018-19 at A.bad as an imported product looking at a large range of Veeba. Today, I see that great person is down to earth an Indian patriot. (not imported one) I would suggest u a Sauce I like. Korean " Gochujang" Similarly, very hottest "Capsaicin", we have to consume it in small drops. I enjoy both. This is my demand Viraj Sir in Veeba range.
Hi I’m from culinary background and was a manager at QSR, the explosive growth of retail was due to the fact the consumers wanted restaurant taste in their home, every customer used to come and ask for sauce brand, that’s why they got so much success in retail. Coming to the innovative sauce which were tasty didn’t succeed only due to the fact they were not present in restaurant. Indian consumers don’t like new palette (they say they open to new taste but reality is different) that’s why they always order butter chicken/paneer, do pyaza, dal makhini whenever they go to restaurant.. Thanks, As always normally I don’t watch podcasts but was bound to watch this.. Great going Ganesh!!
One of the most informative episode of think school among others ....lots of take away points in sigke episode..and open straight forward talk shared by Viraj sir😊
Think School brought the right guy for the podcast the company like Veeba can share a better insight of how to build a manufacturing company rather than giants
His family owned “Fun Foods” which was established in 1983!! Fun Foods primarily manufactured Mayonnaise (Veg & Non Veg).. so it was pretty deep into the sauces business. … “No Subway inspiration over here” 😂😂 Fun Foods was later sold to the German company Oetker for 110 Cr… and a failed restaurant business post that wouldn’t have even put a scratch to that figure financially. And, talking about the network that Viraj might’ve built (or let’s say his family) during the Fun Food days would’ve surely made his path to getting Domino’s as his first client way easier as compared to some real first generation entrepreneur who would have wanted to start a sauce business from scratch and target Domino’s as their first client back then.
Hi Ganesh idk if you'll be ever reading this but it has been a long time since I am watching your business lessons even though I have no intention of opening one....i appreciate your hardwork and deep analysis of every sentence you speak. The veeba owner on this particular podcast taught me to be down to earth and never forgetting our roots no matter what. After watching this I am definitely going to leave Dr oatker and shift to veeba 😂 GREAT WORK GANESH, KEEP DOING IT, WISH YOU ALL THE BEST:)
How can something be 2hours long and still so interesting. I have seen these products countless times but never thought it grew into such a big brand. In fact the host Viraj was a brand by himself.
@thinkschool would you also consider making these podcasts are your case study videos. Since the length of podcasts is usually a little long some audience might skip it but if the same stories are also created as your regular videos, a larger audience can also benefit from it. Food for thought!
Honestly every podcast of yours is a great noteworthy learning, but this one has something that is gonna etch for a long time. Such a well crafted Q&A and a case study format. Thanks Viraj and Ganesh.
5 Hours and 7 pages for me. Really wonderful good job TS team. Also he is really wonderful. who always uses Mild words On competitors. Really Appreciated
Thank you for an insightful podcast!! Will try out Veeba products now! Will start with the chipotle sauce. Wishing both Think School and Veeba continued success. My one phrase take-away from the podcast was "Boring is sexy". Simple stuff done consistently gives great results!
Dear Sir, I watch your show first time but i can say that i learn many things from your show the Owner of the product was very humble any he gave deep dive answer to every question with their hardest journey and thank to you also because if you don't ask these kind of deep question we will not get the answer and one more thing after answer you were Summarize the answer it was also a great.

More importantly, Indians themselves will choose to stay there and the US won't be the ultimate destination for success.
That was a fantastic 2 hours of business lecture with hands on experience. Wish your channel keep creating such content for us!
Watched ur episode from Canada)
I pray Veeba becomes MNC with 50k Crore Co.
My wife started using this Salad dressing in 2018-19 at A.bad as an
imported product looking at a large
range of Veeba.
Today, I see that great person is down to earth an Indian patriot.
(not imported one)
I would suggest u a Sauce I like.
Korean " Gochujang"
Similarly, very hottest "Capsaicin",
we have to consume it in small drops.
I enjoy both.
This is my demand Viraj Sir in
Veeba range.
Amazing and excellent content with informative insights by Mr.Viraj. You are so honest and humble.Thank you .
I am also searching VEEBA when I am going to buy monthly grocery bcz product is damn good 👍
Your enthusiasm means a lot to us, and we’re glad you enjoy our sauces! Happy cooking! ✨
49:58 Plus plus meaning, positioning the brand at higher price segment then late also release products for lower price segment, best example: OnePlus
Loved this conversation! So many learnings which are relevant beyond business too. Keep up the good work Ganesh!
36:29 sir whatever you are saying is not at all boring, instead it’s just filled with information, thank you so much 😄
Literally mind blown, such a real person he is❤
His family owned “Fun Foods” which was established in 1983!! Fun Foods primarily manufactured Mayonnaise (Veg & Non Veg).. so it was pretty deep into the sauces business. … “No Subway inspiration over here” 😂😂
Fun Foods was later sold to the German company Oetker for 110 Cr… and a failed restaurant business post that wouldn’t have even put a scratch to that figure financially.
After watching this I am definitely going to leave Dr oatker and shift to veeba 😂
GREAT WORK GANESH, KEEP DOING IT, WISH YOU ALL THE BEST:)
Thank you so much :)
This guy is so humble !!
Wow ab maja ayega business podcast 🎉😊
Even if the podcasts are long but when the content is right, people do take out time to watch. Thanks for the great insights❤
Dear Ganesh,
Really appreciated your work. I need few Guidance and Idea. Being a normal guy what type of Steps needed to follow to do a case study.
Honestly every podcast of yours is a great noteworthy learning, but this one has something that is gonna etch for a long time. Such a well crafted Q&A and a case study format. Thanks Viraj and Ganesh.
I think it's time for Think school to start a MBA programme
5 Hours and 7 pages for me.

Viraj seems down to Earth and honest. That's rare to see in businessmen these days on camera.
Really Great Podcast! So much concepts were discussed in practical viewpoint which I had learned only theorotically during my MBA!❤
It was a nice interview, kudos to the entire team.
WHAT A GEM....VIRAJ....I WILL REMEMBER HIS NAME
Thank you for an insightful podcast!! Will try out Veeba products now! Will start with the chipotle sauce.
Wishing both Think School and Veeba continued success. My one phrase take-away from the podcast was "Boring is sexy". Simple stuff done consistently gives great results!
This was so granular level Ganesh, loved your questioning and as always didn't miss a minute of it.
Very Informative!!Thanks for uploading 😊
Complete Masterclass! THANKS THINK SCHOOL🙂
Viraj, as a hardcore fan of the spicy strawberry sauce. Keep the madness going! Bring it back as an ode to this amazing podcast!
Viraj is a great humble human being.
very very very deep ground level insights.
Salute to ganesh and Mr Viraj
we need more like this
Thanks for such inspirational videos, Ganesh.
I'll take notes, though unrelated to the arena, but it's always good to learn.
