I absolutely love this podcast format. I feel like a child being told a story - maybe I'm having flashbacks to Oliver Postgate narration of The Clangers or Noggin the Nog, but whatever, I'm sold! The length is spot on. Brilliant idea. Looking forward to more.

I feel so lucky, as I visited China in 1998 and the highlight of my trip was visiting the site of The Terracotta Warriors. It was overwhelming and beautiful to experience.

I visited in 98 too, on a business trip while working for Ericsson. Visited a few times and the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall. Stunning.

Neil! The Egyptian pyramids were not tombs - you should know this! Modern evidence screams a far more interesting alternative. Come on Neil... get with it.

Jonah was swallowed up by the whale but was spewed up after 3 days and 3 nights. If you put your faith and trust in Jesus nothing can swallow you up.
    Romans 8:38:39
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Terra cotta,..? No dear. These were humans turned into solid clay by chemical properties. Incredible things in history we are not allowed to know these days.

To be a troublemaker, I find the fall of the Emperors in China, the Soong family, Sun Yat-nen's failure to obtain help in the West to erect democratic principals, the Tongs and warlord, and Chiang kai-Shek's failure an̈d withdrawal to Taiwan to be more interesting. Why? It holds very telling events that bespeak our Western values by examining our lack of supporting them in international power politics. But, thanks for the info.

An impressive waste of resources but not nearly as impressive as the great pyramids of Cheops. I should take exception to your suggesting that the pyramids were intended to be necropolises when there is no evidence for this other than their subsequent use as such.
