PC version of Genshin Impact 4.5 ran well on Whisky for me, on macOS 14.5. I created a bottle container in an external hard drive in ex-FAT format and had my game downloaded using JDownloader from the official links.

it's incredible that I have the native version on my iPad M1 with ultra graphics, max fps and on my mac m1 we have to do all these useless processes!
Ultra on mobile isn't the same as ultra on PC. You're missing quite a few effects like better shadows and Global Illumination
@@crestofhonor2349 you're missing the point maybe, obviously the graphics can be superior. Then we can talk about resolution too, but still better than playing with compromises like these and emulating. Don't miss the point of the comment.
@@MikixITpc version is miles ahead played on ipad / iphone / play cover and now yaagl this one is the best so far.
Wonder how it will perform on m1pro devices? I guess it's better to use Playcover if you are on a m1.
I’m using the M2 Max and apparently the volumetric fog is glitched. Whenever I turn it on my entire screen turns white, like literally all white.

it takes waaaay more storage space than specified... it says now that my applications folders takes up 200gb + 80 gb from the install folder.. however only the YAAGL is installed in applications which is only 13mb.. now i keep running out of storage space each time i play

The game stopped working in December on CrossOver. Does this MacOS update fix the game inside of CrossOver itself too?
Also Parallels released an update a few days ago, they fixed all Genshin Impact graphical issues, says in the patch notes. :)
The issue was a Rosetta bug which the 14.4 update fixed

Error 31-4302. for me, after following your steps. This is after toggling the AC Patch too. So, maybe something in 4.6 is causing things to break.

hii, apparently playcover doesn’t work on sonoma 14.4.1 anymore? T__T Since I only have 8gb ram on my macbook m1 the only option I have left to be able to play genshin was side loading it through playcover but I can’t. I tried look stuff on reddit and people are saying playcover doesn’t work on sonoma anymore. Can someone please help me

Thankd a lot, It helps a lot. However, i tried to download it on an external hardware but once the downloading is done, it goes back to the 'allocating file' part.... and it goes on and on...
I still have to try to put it directly on my computer, but even with 230 GB free, it says I have not enough free space...

Is always good support crossover if got the money, it ends up more work on wine that Linux and Mac user can use.

Does this work for Honkai Star Rail too ? I reckon they use the same engine.
The Anti-cheat causes trouble but should work. It just needs a patch (On Linux it does require a Patch)

There are multiple methods, in my latest video you can use MuMuPlayer Pro or you can use Parallels.

i did it on usb, when it finishes downloading its kust goes back to allocating files to disk or smth.. and keeps repeating
That’s because it downloads in batches, it takes a while and a lot of patience so don’t worry, I had the same thing

I think the launcher download's multiple 10gb zip file like 4-5 times then after completing the download its shows decompressing.
