I didn’t ever have it set up like that, but I have read that it should shorten the travel for the break, make it feel lighter (but not actually be lighter, it’s just perception). And you have the pre travel and over travel adjustability still. The gray guns kit is to lighten the trigger pull, that’s basically the majority of its benefit.
So I installed the apex trigger kit with the connector bar for my wife’s p320. I’m thinking about doing a setup like this, for when I get my self a p320, but I’m wondering what is the benefit of using the gray guns sear? Does it actually drop pull weight, or is that all the springs?
I would say it depends on your training level and your confidence in it personally. I never had any negligent discharges with it in the holster running around shooting 3 gun, but that doesn’t mean it will be that way in everyone’s pistol.
Do i need to get the trigger kit or i can just buy the spring kit from gray guns? So that i can save money. Its just a waste of money if i buy the trigfer kit if im going to get the armory craft trigger. can i use the stock safety lever pin and the stock precision ground sear? What spring kit do you have on the gun is it the intermediate or the competition?
You don’t have to use the gray guns kit. If you scroll back just a little bit from this video, I did a video just on the gray guns kit. I chose to upgrade the trigger shoe itself because I wanted both pretravel and overtravel adjustability
@@markjacksonmusic21 not exactly. The trigger shoe is adjustable for pre-travel and over-travel. The gray guns kit is mostly just springs for adjusting pull weight. The gg trigger is only overtravel adjustable.
@markjacksonmusic21 yes that’s what I did in this pistol. I used the gray guns springs with the armory craft trigger and the armory craft extra power trigger bar spring
If you would actually watch the video, I explained at the beginning I would not show the installation because I don’t want my channel to get a strike. Thanks 👍🏼
Awesome stuff man! You’ve taken that Sig Legion Trigger even farther than I did. I gotta try that thing soon!
Yessir! I would like to compare them side by side again now!
What would be the difference if I didn’t run it with the gray guns kit and only had armory craft trigger vs having both set up?

@Pickleball_Longevity you bet

I know it’s polished and has a nickel coating, but Grayguns claims it’s precision machined and the coating will reduce grit in the trigger.
No need to replace the sear, but I’d check out springer precisions trigger kit, love it in combo with my armory craft trigger.
@NotAnOperator442 I think the main reason Grey guns wants to replace it is geometry of contact and the fact they polish the ones in the box
Nice upgrade. Is this kit safe for carry?

@@TNRay I wouldnt modify any internals for performance for a carry gun honestly. If u ever get into a situation that does play a part in judgement.
@straplyfedj this is far from a carry gun
@@TNRay yes that is true but he asked is this kit safe for carry?
@@TNRay my bad i tagged u in that response. I was actually responding to his question about carry.

@@TNRay so this adjustable trigger will basically do what the GG kit does?
