- Experienced travel and leisure entrepreneur Max Lawrence, with a track record for creating innovative and highly successful boutique hotels in 2020 turned his focus to coaching other ADHD Business owners, entrepreneurs, creatives, tech innovators and university students, Max's scattered attention was grabbed after his own ADHD diagnosis aged 44 followed by that a of his then, 13 year old son.
In this passion fuelled monologue Max dives deeper than most into ADHD stimulant medication which for millions of scattered minds miraculously improve focus, concentration, emotional dis-regulation and rejection sensitive dysphoria (suffered by the majority of ADHD'ers diagnosed during adulthood).
Also, a stark warning conveyed through Max's brutally honest account of his own decline back into active addiction having spent 9 years clean and sober but this time the alcohol and illegal drugs weren't provided by off licences or street dealers but legally prescribed by well intentioned licensed psychiatrists in the form of ADHD stimulant medications including Dexamphetamine Sulphate and Methylphenidate otherwise known as 'smart or study' drugs.

Such an open and informative discussion. Thank you. I am recently diagnosed during menopause aged 53 and am starting titration. Effect of low oestrogen on women with adhd is very powerful
Thanks for sharing your story so openly. It’s really helpful to hear this side of the stimulant story. Wishing you very well in your journey.
Thank you very much for this video. This is massively helpful and relatable to me as a 53 year old who very recently received a diagnosis for ADHD.
Thank you for being so transparent. This is useful information, we are all like different flavors of ice-cream. I appreciate you addressing both the good and the bad that can come along with this.
'You know who you are'....cough. I'm debating going on a stimulant and this is exactly what I needed to hear. Do you have any thoughts on psilocybin as an alternative? I've seen a lot of positive comment on this.
positive specifically for adhders?
What’s the name of the audio book you listened to?
Driven To Distraction.
Do you have an update for 2025? 😁
I love models too, and a bomb going off wouldn’t distract me (for the most part). Do you still do them? Do these medications alter the ability to try and do a good job on them?
Kinda important to me…they keep me sane.🖖🏻😉
I havent been flying models for the last few years but I hope to start again soon. Yes, the meds enable me to start and complete tasks which I would struggle to get done without them. Thanks for your comment 🚀
