The sad thing is that most wrap shop will charge you 15000-20000 … for a 12 hours job I know they don’t work in winter in Europe … but common … it’s hardly a lung transplant ! The latest bullshit being … yeah it’s almost the same as painting cost wise , but it’s a lot quicker ! So we don’t keep your boat for weeks ! ( marine fun anxiety is a real disease )
Let me disagree with you. 1. You didn't specified the currency but i doubt that we charge what you wrote. Wrapping the boat from the video was 2500 euro. 2. We wrap boats all year long. its just a matter of organization. 3. Its never as costly as painting. Considering that there is a difference in painting it with standard car paints (mostly acrylic) and professional marine painting (the cost of the paint itself is bigger than our whole service). 3. Timeline is a big factor here. We don't wrap just the sides of the boat but we do projects where the boat is wrapped completely, exterior and interior. Projects like that could ground your boat not for weeks but months. Imagine amount of work and dirt replacing the furnitures and carpentry in your boat. To sum up, i believe you got to the wrong shop.

Standar wrapping vinyl (3M, Oracal or Avery dennison) + another layer of clear laminate (it gives better Uv and damage protection) - 4200 euro + travel and accommodation 3. Standar wrapping vinyl (3M, Oracal or Avery dennison) + another layer of clear self healinglaminate (it gives better Uv and damage protection, small scratches dissapear under the heat, which makes vinyl preserve gloss) - 4600 euro + travel and accommodation Price include deep cleaning, removal of silicones and replication after the wrapping, water line sealing with edge sealer. It doesn't include repairing the gelcoat which we charge by the hour (the surface should be repaired before the wrapping, as the idea is to make her look brand new. We also make stainless steel LED letters and vendeck foams.
