Thanks!! I live in a very hot and humid climate, where we have summer weather almost 9 months of the year! I am always searching for cotton blends! Does the King cotton knit up as a sport weight or more like a finger weight? I have a large King cake and would like to use it for a finger weight shawl. That yarn seems fine like a fingering weight. A lot of the cotton yarns I knit with you have to watch for the threads as you knit. Even when they are plied. Just the nature of the fiber. Hobbii yarns are very responsibly priced. Especially for garments. The colors of all the yarns were gorgeous! Thanks for the tour of their web site. I have never really paid any attention to it. I type in the yarn I’m trying to find and find it or move on to the next site. Your crocheting is looking good. Be kind to yourself, you are learning and doing fine! I’m looking into crocheting/knitting the Jethro cardigan (I think I spelled it right) The body is crochet squares and the sleeves and edging are knit. I have some DK hand dyed variegated skeins that I’m thinking about using. It would give the sweater a different look. Enjoyed your review!💗💗🧶🧶
Thank you! I am impressed with the Hobbii yarns, but am in a 'no buy' until I seriously deplete my stash. Hobbii is a yarn I would buy. I do have two skeins of Hobbii sock weight. I liked knitting with it. I knitted a pair of shorty socks, and am planning a hat with the second ball of yarn.
Hobbii make some gorgeous yarns. I totally get the yarn ban until some stash is gone though. I need to do the same!
