Ryan C that is how magical the artistry of songwriting is. Tedder being a lead vocalist is different from his being a songwriter. Halo wouldn't have worked with One Republic performing it. It was a perfect fit for Beyoncé though. Most writers like Tedder don't really have themselves in mind when writing a song of an artist. They know how to make a song work.
I really wish people would understand a demo is just that. Its not meant to be perfect, when an artist chooses to record the song then the producers will mix and master so it will have that quality. Demos give us insight into what the process is for getting songs. Major props to Ryan for singing his best and blessing us with this great song!!!!!
this my song in 2013...for every moment

L.J. Hu right??? i’ve never seen it before
I love how nobody is talking about the fact that Beyoncé played it off like she wrote this song and put her name first in songwriters and his name last when he sang the demo
she always pretends she writes everyting lol so unoriginal
because songwriting doesn’t just work off the lyrics. yeah he made most the song but beyoncé got her writing credit for the arrangement being different and the key shift. also there’s no true lead writer, her name comes first like many other artists because it’s their song.
She never said she wrote this. Lol your the idiot that said that
This guy is so talented you can’t deny.
