Hello everyone! Welcome to the Bagotville International Air Show of 2024!
Introducing, for the first and only appearance ever in North America for the 2024 Season- the RAF Typhoon Display Team. A huge deal and a treat to see here in Canada to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force. The pilot Flight Lieutenant David "Turbo" Turnbull took the Typhoon up for a killer aerial demonstration in front of 86,000 people on Saturday afternoon. This year the RAF Typhoon Display Team presents 'Moggy' as the demo bird this year who wears the distinct markings from an RAF No.257 Squadron Hawker Typhoon flown by Squadron Leader Denzil Jenkins in support of the D-Day landings. Enjoy the video!
All the best,
Ernest G.

We need a US/Canada Tour from them and the French Rafale Team!
Agreed! I’ve heard the Rafale team is nuts! Hope to see it soon one day :)
Amazing camera skills, stunning footage of Moggy display.
Thanks so much Darren! Moggy was great. Would’ve loved to have seen Blackjack ;)
Toronto needs this so badly.
Hold not, thy breath.
Agreed but we got the RAF Red Arrows this year! Can’t go wrong with them ;)
Great Job Ernest
Thanks David!
well done Turbo, so proud of our RAF
He flew a great show, great pilot too! For the first time in Canada 🇨🇦
Was lucky enough to see this live ..... incredibly impressive airplane and display.
Excellent aircraft and display! But in my honest opinion, I found the F-22 and -35 demo’s are more fiercer than this.
@@ErnestGutschikAviation F-35 ? Are you serious ?
This bird is SO agile!
Agreed! It’s like a flying dart!
@@ErnestGutschikAviation POWER incarnate, second to none, until this the new F-15EX.
Excellent Job! Glad you were there to capture this!
Thanks man! It was an adventure and a half but so worth it!
What a fantastic aircraft, as close to Star Wars as we've gotten so far, F117 and B2 aside.
The usual standard of excellence in filming Ernest...👍
Cheers Ken! Love this plane, it’s like a flying dart!
Was this being filmed with AI ....????
Nope, not a single inch of AI in this.
Great video! I liked the d-day stripes they put on for the 80th anniversary
Cheers! Oh yes, sure is amazing! We’re so fortunate to have been able to see it here in Canada.
Fantastic camera work ! As good as some of the extraordinary Japanese viz, on You Tube.
Much appreciated!
Very nice footage ! I wish you ad the footage of the flight with the Spitfire, F18 and Typhoon splitting off !
Thanks! Oh I have it :) it’ll come out soon one day. Just got so many other airshows to post haha.
Nailed it!!! As usual!
Appreciate ya! :)
How did you stabilize the video like that?
Intense post production with Adobe After Effects and Da Vinci Resolve :)
Ernest a beautiful video of perfect skills and the abilities to work as the aircraft should in the intended purpose. Looks like a win for the future. Clear video as always. Ernest have a great week and catch you on the next flight.
All the best Chris!
Turbo was on fire
Oh yeah, burners lit!
Superbe avion et superbe vidéo. Nous entendons bien le commentateur (Australien ?) et local du SAIB. Aussi vous pouviez éviter la musique inutile et trop forte au sol !
Merci! Yes, the speakers were so loud! One of the loudest I’ve ever been to at an airshow, it was like being at a concert 😂
Needs more speakers!!
Oh Brookie, I’m here to side with you extremely haha. I spent several minutes editing them out! Should’ve heard their loudness on the other hand, I could’ve listened to the show from 10km away- it was like being at a concert! 😁
Its a shame they scaled back the Typhoon display. This jet is a late Tranche 1 or early Tranche 2 example, so it already has a lot of flying hours on the air frame, which means it can't show what the aircraft is truly capable of due to the stresses on the , by now, old airframe. It's really only operating at 70% of its capabilities in these displays now.
I appreciate this comment. I was looking to see if someone would notice this because as someone like myself who’s never seen the Typhoon Demo, I found myself looking at older Typhoon Demo’s from the past and found them to be a bit more fiercer than what I saw here in Bagotville. This clears things up for me 😎
Actually I think this is a new plane, the euro fighter from last year that had the Union Jack livery was the old airframe that got retired, I suppose this one has not been broken in so to speak
@@jonathanparry7824 It's a different plane than Black Jack, but it's still a ZJ serial meaning it's Tranche 1. Tranche 2 is ZK etc. There's no point stressing Tranche 2/3 airframes for displays when they're the primary fighting planes.
As if airshow weren't loud enough they have to pipe crappy music over the PA as well!
I didn’t mind the music but this airshow was something else. The speakers were mounted to these massive towers and it was like being at a rock concert, I could’ve been 10km away from the base and have still heard everything perfectly.
Nice to see real air forces flying in this joke of a country!
Hahaha, gotta show Canada a thing or two sometimes ;) we should catch up a bit with the F-35’s coming soon.
@@ErnestGutschikAviation Don't hold your breath! It's going to be years before we see those in RCAF livery
don't be so hard on yourself, your F18 put on a fantastic display of power and skill at RIAT this year,I beleve it won an award as well !
We are all allies bud. Four great Airforces. 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇨🇵🇺🇲
