  • The MacArthur Maze freeway interchange in Oakland may connect roads but does it separate people? 'The Maze' explores the convergence of historical, environmental, and cultural impact surrounding the maze, from the Ohlone shellmounds that are now a shopping center to the history of Port of Oakland to the interchange's role in segregating and stifling West Oakland. 'The Maze' invites us all to slow down and consider a new perspective on our daily commute.
    A film by Serginho Roosblad.

1970's, Fremont CA. American High School. We were taught (told) the Ohlone people were 'long gone before Americans arrived'.
