I feel like the best argument against Media Watch's argument that 'we can't air the tapes because that's illegal' is that Jordan and his staff are yet to be fined or jailed all these months after uploading them. UA-cam hasn't even taken them down yet! They're still available despite somehow being illegal.
But he was sued for defamation. And YT hasn't taken it down because they'd have to open themselves up to the personal jurisdiction of Australian courts

Indeed, they are all legitimate questions that they use the voice to soften the blow slightly and subtly to not alarm people to what's happening. Listening to jordies over the years has been a blessing and a curse. On one hand I get to have all these "hot takes" like "de-fund the ABC!" or that "Labor and Libs aren't the same shit with different names" and get to fell all smug. But once the novelty of being right is over I'm left in this bizzaro world where I know soylent green is people and no matter how many people I tell, there's still ads all around me saying how delicious and nutritious it is.

I loved how Media Watch’s take on the Stan Grant situation was ultimately that the ABC made an unwise choice putting him on when they did when Sky and others were giving them actual material in posting that many videos and articles about it just to further fuel the outrage that you could probably make a harassment case out of it.
