Is there something I can do besides practice to get my 6 steps looking more profesh?

Practice your footwork form in general, try to get it more fresh and easy to do before going into other things, then, practice six steps to the music, make sure you’re practicing your moves to music and adapting to the music early in your career, this is important for the future. Then you will learn how to adapt your other moves to the music. Next, just practice basic footwork free styling and try to come up with your own footwork and just learn how to become more various whilst doing it your own way, you’ll need this. Just make sure you can do one simple footwork move beforehand or have mastered footwork taps.
