    Seriously, it seems like everytime you post an amazing video as usual, you have this tremendous ability to make something great! I think you would have made a superb video with some of the staff who works for GameStop and shared your love for the games that many of us can relate to for that much added depth! You are going to knock it out of the ball park, your content creator work is beyond the average cookie. Loved this video! Well done, SweetlyLorelei!

      That's what a lot of my TikTok viewers and people who found out about my channel on UA-cam told me in person, so thanks for the re-affirming kind words and dropping by to watch my video once again. Of course, if only I had way more funds, I cannot wait to be well-equipped even more to handle the show! The less than average Joe here in terms of money finances 😅 -- but not letting that take me out of my dream of sharing my lovely adventures with you all, one day at a time!

      If you ever need help, I know a great friend who is into electronics and she could help you along the way. Just ask and she can deliver it to you. I can introduce her to your channel if you like. 😊

      Tee-hee-hee! It's not necessary -- I know money can be tight for a lot of people, ESPECIALLY when lots of people purchased something nice during the Christmas & Boxing season, so no worries. That money could be spent on something else. 😥🥰
      I will still consider her request, though, if she is more than seriously interested in helping me out. Otherwise, honestly, I should be good here. You people are amazing -- it's like when one door closes, twenty of them open elsewhere. It'll only going to be a matter of time before I really make my sweet supporters even more proud, from what I heard by others alike. Like they pointed out to me, the numbers are slowly getting somewhere. 🥰

      @@sweetlyloreleiYou're getting there! 700 subscribers in the near future? There's a reason why you are growing over time. If you had 25K subs right now, I know you would definitely be explosive getting subs and views left and right posting a very similar video to this one here. You've got this, SweetlyLorelei! ❤

      Awww, I can see why. Games can be downloaded online, more things are already onto the PC. The arcade is now evolving into phone apps, etc. Even though I will miss the old games, the fun things you can do while traveling around the world or meeting people and doing hobbies while traveling can't be easily replaced! 🧸💕 I look forward to 2025 and Happy New Year to you two! If you ever travel to some of the other cool places around the world, I can't wait to see what you might bring next time! See you around, Eva and Victor!

    Mad intro. Anyone else agrees? ❤

      I agree! I wish this video was much longer! Great intro, then suddenly later on, it gets silly, out of hand with lots of hilarious bits in between! This video clearly exhibits so many of the capable sides that SweetlyLorelei is able to dish out. I'll keep rooting for you, Vincent!

    • @sweetlylorelei
      @sweetlylorelei  Місяць тому

      Longer? That does take up a bit more time lol -- but I'll definitely keep note of how happy you were and how pleased you were with this video! (Happy you enjoyed it, and you wanted to see more! lol)
      Miku, there are plenty of people I just caught eye of, who mentioned to me the same exact thing you did, which is very thoughtful and kind! 🧸💕 I honestly had so much fun doing this type of video over here -- certainly, it kinda got too over-edited and crazy at the end, I do agree -- my apologies in doing so 😂 -- but if it showcases a bit more of what I can do and you think it's a nicely added touch, well then I am happy and glad to have entertained you even more, and that you thoroughly enjoyed it over here!
      Glad you loved the intro too, Lily! The intro actually came (once again) unscripted, but whenever I just came up with an idea of my own, I generate more of these bright concepts that I like to put forward, especially when it comes to my other projects or works into the near future! Aw, yeah! 🥰✌️

    2:40 That banana peel causing that kind of chair drop LOL Your race announcer commentating is something else I really didn't expect, I had a couple great laughs while watching you play! 😊
    Too bad this video is short, I would have loved to see more!

      I actually wanted to talk about it in further detail, but I didn't want to be so loud at the counter that it would distract the workers who are answering over the phone and talking to some of the customers who happened to be passing by. Luckily, they were pretty much quiet for the most part -- and I didn't think any of them wanted to be shown on the camera screen (although I never really asked) -- I just am thankful to be able to do this while they are busy at work or just having some fun enjoying chats about the games on the side.
      If I do drop by one day and they actually decided to extend their hand for a one-on'-one friendly chat about the latest games the store has to offer, I will more than happily conduct a more "professional" interview with them (although it's gonna be way more of a fun, friendly chat like a podcast rather than a professional one haha) but still, it was a good time nevertheless!
      I can see why several people who tried this unit out thinks the controller is kinda flimsy, the outer shell of the unit is not up to par and the processor a slow mess at times. It's easy to upgrade the RAM and place a new skin on top of the machine. For a person not as fussy like I am though, this cabinet has a TON OF GAMES that the little ones would most definitely love! I'm sure many of them who can't afford a PC or a laptop yet would consider this $300 item a fairly decent price tag if they don't mind the space to put this into their house. 😅
      And yes, I would've loved to cover this in just a bit more detail -- but again, I thank the staff who worked at the Niagara Falls location and I didn't want to disturb them any further. Otherwise you'd see me going HAM on my crazy announcer's voice right now. lol
      That, and I am learning about maybe (maybe 😅) purchasing a higher-tier Bluetooth microphone for once and a Gimbal, we shall see!

    They sell this in Gamestop with Mario games on it? The Ninjas have been dispatched to Gamestop now. 🤔

      🤣🤣🤣 No, it does not come with games of it's own unfortunately, Batocera, the Emulator might come with a minimum few, but you can buy them online through Steam or other developers who make ROMs compatible with it. I don't know the price off hand but they do have a ton of classic games out there, and I saw the staff play Street Fighter II the other day. It was quite some fun. 😊
      It's now going for $249 online, but was designed for customization so you can pull out the boards and make it your own if you know how to put an extra cover on it or do-it-yourself at your own workshop!

    I know it's a dumb question Vincent but, which do you like the best, playing games at home or in the Midway environment?

    • @sweetlylorelei
      @sweetlylorelei  Місяць тому +1

      @johnsturtz Oh no, it's not a dumb question at all! I like the Midway far more because I get to see so many of my friends there, and it reminds me of the good old times! Still can't believe it's been a short two years ago. 😲
      Before that, I used to walk up and down the Niagara River Parkway, enjoying the sights and sounds, taking pictures and feeding the squirrels. It's funny that I mentioned about this... because I just made my own personal vlog about an hour ago to myself, saying to myself how much I used to miss watching the sunrise down by the Horseshoe Falls here in Niagara. It used to drive a few bus drivers crazy back in the day, because they see me so often just walking down to see the Falls around 7 am in the morning 😅 -- but that was how I also made so many of my bus driver friends as well just doing my routinely morning walks, and going down to the Butterfly Conservatory on the weekends. This must've been at least 2018, 2019. It's been a while! 😊
      Despite all those wonderful walks down by the Botanical Gardens, never in my wildest dreams have any of this UA-cam stuff or social media been ever brought up before. I look back and thought to myself -- what if I had been doing this kind of thing right now instead, where I'm recording my own personal adventures and bringing it to UA-cam many years prior, as opposed to what if I was not doing anything in particular and just doing what I normally did only, taking pictures of me and my selfies with the butterflies or the Falls area this whole entire time but never be able to show or display my other vlogging adventures to my friends and the world?
      In just those two and a half years alone, I made up for more ground than I ever did when I was in my 20s and mid 30s. I wish I had discovered about this social media influencer work way earlier! To have the mental fortitude and desire to tell my 18 year old past self, on how extremely important it is to build on something great for the many, many years to come -- even if it seems like a GIGANTIC mountain to climb over at the very beginning, being totally brand new to the field and just starting everything from scratch. NO REGRETS, I keep telling myself, John. Despite knowing it'll definitely take a while to get there, it was still worth that massive climb!!! 😁
      But yes, to get back at your question a bit more over here -- I don't mind playing games at home whenever I wanted to. The arcade can get quite expensive, and I could keep telling myself -- why waste money at a tourist trap zonr when I can play on my consoles for free at home instead? You probably have experienced it out there, yourself -- that moment when you soon begin to realize that life itself is full of opportunities right beneath your nose. So many of these wonderful opportunities just pass you by -- and you never really are aware of it unless you look very closely.
      "Do I want to be the one watching the TV shows, doing the same thing over and over for the next 20, maybe 25, 30 years? Or would I rather want to be the one who WANTS TO BE IN THE SHOW instead, who takes that very initiative, and tells myself I can make it if I try, even though it won't be easy for a little while?" I am glad to have chosen the latter, even though I came in super late. And the experience has been FANTASTIC as a result! ✌️
      Life gets too short to stress out over nothing. I'm glad I decided to hop right over the fence than just sit there, contemplating for many more months wondering what ifs and what could've happened. Just go about and do it, I tell myself. Never in the past two years would I imagine myself being where I am today, thankful to myself, being able to make many new friends along the way, often looking forward to seeing what else is new at Clifton Hill. There are so many great things I've benefited from this kind of blissful journey, always trying to look through the positives. It isn't worth your time to focus on the negative things instead, sitting back and kicking yourself for not being able to do anything until it happens to be far too late.
      Aside from the obvious money expenses (wish I had way more, of course 😅), I would rather be out here doing my thing at Midway than sit at home playing video games for a long time now. I mean, nothing wrong with that either, but I worked hard to build a lifestyle that I can truly enjoy because of it. For those who saw me and how I was close to the beginning -- and then watching me begin to grow slowly from there. It fascinates so many people -- and I am glad and extremely fortunate to do what I love to do, sharing my adventures with audiences like you in the short, few years like this -- and hopefully, MANY, many more years to come!
      Apologies for the big fat novel I wrote to you, John. 😅 I just noticed I can't keep commentating my head off the whole entire day. lol Have yourself a good day, John!
