120 ton excavator, crazy to think that as well as being able to move a full bucket of earth it has to overcome its own weight, the power in these things is incredible.
I agree with you on the full bucket brigade,the secret is to keep the haulers loaded and moving.The money is not made loading it is made by the trucks hauling it to where its needed.

Norwegian Earthmovers You’re right, it can be extremely frustrating when the grounds so hard you’re struggling to get a full bucket, meanwhile trucks are queueing up waiting. It takes patience!

I feel that I have to work as much with my own temper as the materials when it is hard to fill the bucket..😅 Here In Norway we need to blast almost everything that looks like rock, rippers or breakers don't do more harm than a scratch mark on the surface.. But we do experience rock that's difficult to blast with good results, that's where my temper turns in..🤪 But I will rather work with loading rock, compared to wet soil, marsh or clay.. Up here it's either hard rock or soaked and bottomless sticky mud😄 Just curious, do you operate machines yourself, or where does your interest for machines come from, if you don't?
This machine is working with the rock bucket, for this type of material it has to be a bucket with 8 teeth, this bucket with 5 teeth and for rock material! Wrong equipment only cooperates to increase fuel and wear equipment!

Peanut Butter You’re observational skills obviously don’t go beyond what’s in the bucket. Can you not see they hit a hard spot and the dozer is trying to rip it for the Hitachi?

You see those in California and a few in AZ. It is a Slope blade. It requires a very good operator the run it.
