Overcoming Her Fear of Animals -- Reina and Dad's Summer Farm Trip 2024

- Due to Reina's condition, she has an irrational fear of animals. To help her with her fear, we went on a trip to Menifee California and stayed for 3 days and two nights on a farm.
We were surrounded by animals! There was chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys, doves, goats, dogs, two emus and a pig. It was very tough for Reina at the beginning, but through time, patience and practice she became more comfortable being around them. Even getting to pet the dogs and feed the chickens.
We had a wonderful time and can't wait to get back to living on a farm again!

She did amazingly considering how frightened she was. Thank goodness Daddy is so patient and understanding. She knows that she can trust him and to calm down in the same measure that he is calm with her.

Have you guys ever been to Danny's Farm in Shadow Hills? It's a petting farm and the owners understand autism because they have an autistic son. It could be a good way to get her acclimated to farm animals, knowing the environment is special needs friendly.
