  • Electric Unicycle tutorial about how to learn riding Backwards. This can be a useful skill when doing jumps or to improve control when doing technical rides. I have learnt this skill by myself during the last few months of 2021. It took me a solid couple of months to grasp the basics. Generally, learning how to ride an EUC backwards takes a lot of practice and patience, so not giving up and a consistency attitude might be necessary.
NOTE: I apologies I was not wearing an helmet during my 5 min practice in my front yard.

I've been working, seriously, on backwards for a couple weeks now. Still a lot of work to do, but what helped me get over the hump was to use two poles. I didn't have ski poles, so I used two broom handles. It really helped, but now I have to drop the poles.

Excellent! Great idea uaing two sides poles. Keep up the great work, it will pay off 👍 Slowly but surely you will manage to drop the poles and rock the backwards riding 🙌

Practice makes perfect, smaller more nimble machines are easier :-) I did a video on the Ninebot One E+ "Backwards and forwards on a Ninebot One E+"

Thank you 😊 Backwards riding helps me too keep the balance on tricky sections offroad. It can be useful to learn more advanced tricks and skatepark features. It could be also a good training to get more in sync with the wheel. Hope it clarifies and happy riding 🙌
