I ran over a hidden tree stump I was unaware of in my lawn... The damage was... the mower stopped immediately! No damage to the twin blades, no damage to the battery, no damage to the structure or feel of the mower, and no damage to me!

When deciding whether to purchase the ego mower, I learned a lot by watching your video where you prepared the pinched cables. I purchased the mower and trimmer in April 2023 and I’m pleased. I’m considering the blower now. You did a really good job presenting your experiences with the three ego products. I especially appreciate the heads up regarding issues that may arise. Tfs!

Thank you so much! I am glad that I was able to help out, if at all :) I am glad you are happy with your purchases. LOVE my blower. It is worth every penny! Thank you for the feed back and the kind words. Thanks for watching as well!

I love my EGO line of tools. Invest in a back pack link.

@@EndWrenchRookie It is worth adding . You can use a bigger battery and it takes the weight off your hands. I love it.

Very thorough and interesting review. I don't know enough about these battery mowers, but I thought I had seen some brands (maybe Ryobi?) have a "lifting" blade that might solve the problem you are describing. I believe it is a double blade - one sucks up the grass while the other cuts it. Maybe something to research if overall you still like the mower but concerned about those spots where the grass doesn't get cut.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the feedback. I have seen where the newer EGO mowers have the double blade cutting setups. I will look into weather or not it is compatible with my older mower. Thanks for the tip :) Thank you for watching!

Great review!!!! I'm thinking of getting the new version of this mower.... apparently the new version has alot more power.....but my yard is always damp cause of lots of shading.....it's a tough decision cause like you said for the money I could get a professional gas mower 🤔..... thanks for sharing 👍

Thank you so much! I appreciate the feedback :) It is a tough decision indeed. It has been so nice using the EGO mower with the conveniences and lack of maintenance, but a good quality gas mower will solve my current problems for sure. I would be interested to find out how the newer EGO mowers are generating more power. If they stay the same voltage then they would have to have a larger motor or an improved brushless setup. Good luck with your decision. Hope it all works out for you :) Thanks for watching!

@@EndWrenchRookie yea apparently ther using a brussless motor and the motor has increased by 200w.....

@@RoyMurphy1 I see. Well that would definitely help. If the low/high speed automation was improved so that you were able to utilize the higher rpms more often that would make all the difference. Even better...if they made the low/high speed switchable you could decide for yourself if you want to sacrifice battery runtime for power. Very interesting. Thanks for the info!

Can you use them in none self propelled mode? I am looking at getting some for a Community Centre I am at, we loan them out for people to use. The Centre had Solar Panels installed this year so they well be better for us.
Where I am they only sell the older model like the one you have here it looks like they released a newer model this year so if i am lucky we can get them at a lower price.
On the longer grass that you are having they make a blade that pulls it up with the latest model and I think they will also make them for their older mowers - search - EGO Mower Blades EXPLAINED

Yes, you can mow without using the self propelled mode. I will have to look into the new blade system to see if it is compatible with my mower model. Thanks!
