      Which one will really last longer? (From your experience).

      In terms of the blades. I get a couple of extra shaves out of a Fusion 5 replacement blade. I can only guess that is because of the Fusion 5 having 5 blades rather than 3. You might get a lot more than me from both razors as I like blades that are quite new.

      @@shavingadvisor well, I usually use a Safety Razor with a feather, Bic or Wilkinson blade, but they are forbidden in planes. So I was thinking about buying something only for traveling. But sometimes I stay more than 10 days and I want something to last. I shave once every 2-3 days and I have strange skin, sometimes it is sensible sometimes I can shave even with a grater.

Sometimes I stay more than 10 days, I shave once 2-3 days. I have very strange skin, sometimes I can shave even with a grater, but something my skin just explodes.(I have curly tough hair, medium course hair). What do you recommend? (I already own a Mach 3 that does a pretty decent job, 2 passes. It's really worth a fusion 5?)

    Some say that 1 wears out faster than the other... what has been your experience?

      The Fusion lasts a couple of extra shaves for me. Possible because of the extra blades.

      @@shavingadvisor was there any tugging and pulling with the Mach 3

    • @shavingadvisor
      @shavingadvisor  5 днів тому +1

      @terrellking4174 Only slight, but that's when the growth was pretty thick, over 3 days (happens with most razors). It should not tug on normal or light stubble unless the blades have dulled. I go slower on thicker growth, which also prevents tugging. Bit of a long answer, but it's not a plain yes or no on that one. 👍

      @@shavingadvisor which one would u recommend for head shaving the Mach 3 or the skin guard

    • @shavingadvisor
      @shavingadvisor  4 дні тому

      @terrellking4174 If you don't have skin sensitivities and more so prone to any types of bumps or spots, then the Mach3. The SkinGuard is great for shaving most areas when a person has skin issues, as it does not shave as close. I found the Fusion 5 very good and better for head shaving, but the Mach3 is still good.

    Been using the fusion5 a while now for my head, as I got quite a few moles it really makes a huge difference in comfort compared to disposable cheap razors. Didn´t know about the trimming blade on top of the cartridge though, thanks!

      Yeah, the Fusion 5 will head shave much better than the cheaper disposables. I believe that wide orange microfin strip helps a lot. Thanks for your comment!

    Mach 3 all the way for me just gives me more control.

      Cool. Truth is, if you are a cartridge razor user, the Mach 3 has always been enough. Thanks for sharing!

      @@shavingadvisor good shave do u use safety razors for head shaving? If so which one

    • @shavingadvisor
      @shavingadvisor  5 днів тому

      I have used safety razors for head shaving and still can. However, the top of the head is always a struggle compared to a cartridge type razor--the head is so solid and without flex movement. I will put together a video on comparing a DE and mulit-blade at some point. I have more to do with trying a couple of single edge razors for head shaving as the head design looks like it might work better than a DE. Thanks
