    Don awesome stuff. Why don’t you mount your camera on a head band then both of your hands will be free?

      @Dynodon64  17 днів тому +1

      I may give it a try , but I move my head faster and more often than my hands.

    Making a propeller cone is interesting. That's all I can comment. Not having all the materials and tools you need when you wanted them is frustrating.

    The person who asked if you were going to send out for CNC machining, seems not to have been paying attention to what you've been saying lately. Things are coming along nicely!

    🎉Hey Don, Not sure of your cnc preferences but mine was zero to the top of the work not the table! All my dimensions of cut Climb mill never conventional mill were down - cuts and machine retracted to +.100 when finished heading to home, bolt down heads were another story!

    • @Dynodon64
      @Dynodon64  17 днів тому

      I've used both zero references before, top and bottom. I always feed from .100, rapid move at 2 inches . I always climb cut too.

    G'day Don,
    Yay Team !
    Lookin' great !
    Regarding this business of zapping the Sparklie-Plugs at TDC on the Exhaust Strokes, as well as on Compression..., one wonders if, when the Mixture is "full Rich", there'll be sufficient unburned Fuel-Air in the "Dregs" departing before the Mushroom springs closed ; for the "Redundant Spark" to ignite that final "Puff", for it to duly ignite what's in the Engine-Pipe - which (if it occurrs) might enable something like the "Plennum-Chamber Combustion" which Richard Pearse in New Zealand seems to have been attempting, in the 1940s & '50's - with Sparkplugs fitted & wired to fire into the Exhaust-Manifold of what, today, us on display in the Museum of Travel & Transport, in Aukland (if not Wellington ?).
    Perhaps, if you can contrive to point the Exhaust Pipes more or less rearwards..., you might scavenge a few Pufftillionths of Jet-Thrust from such "Afterburning" ?
    At least, it might result in an evovative visual display of fiery Exhaustings, when at high power settings and in low-light...(?).
    Time will tell...
    Such is life,
    Have a good one...
    Stay safe.
    ;-p
    Ciao !
    (Lol !)

      Wasted spark systems have been around for a long time. All 4 cycle engines on lawn mowers and such have been this way forever. At one time I did read that it can help with burning off any unburnt full in the exhaust.

      @Dynodon64
      The Sparks would have to do something (?).
      The ancient "Tightwad" in me worries about all the unnecessary wear & erosion of the Electrodes, from those wasted Sparks -
      "It's like a Light-Switch, every time you flick it on & off for the fun of doing it, because you're bored - that's one less time the Switch
      Can work..., before something in it breaks, from fatigue & overuse...!".
      Hillbilly maintenance -
      Don't use it unless it's absolutely necessary - in case something wears out, or breaks....
      I can still hear my father saying it (!).
      Such is life,
      Keep on keepin' on.
      Stay safe.
      ;-p
      Ciao !

    Do your research on that ROTEC TBI carb

    • @Dynodon64
      @Dynodon64  17 днів тому

      I'm always looking for more info, but it's scarce. I've only found one negative forum post so far, but it was and older one from years ago. Rotec has made improvements since then.
