If this is the apartment on Norton Avenue, Jim didn’t know the address when he ordered beer and chips here in an interview.. I think it was Pamela’s place more than his, otherwise he wouldn’t have invited an interviewer to his own place. The dog could’ve been living with Pamela. I also think this woman kinda wants to be Pamela in some way, like when she’s referencing the beads at the door and says “have you been to Barney’s..” that’s what Pamela said in that same interview.

I don't know what his rooms were like from house to house growing up with his parents, but from the college dorms he occupied forward, Jim seemed to prefer living in seamy, cramped dumps. It seems a shame.

He lived with Ray and his wife, in their little apartment in Venice. She worked and supported them while they were getting the band started.
