I drove one of these FWD versions for couple weeks 1,800 miles total. Snow to rain weather. Great car, super comfortable for trips. TY for the review, Appreciate the post of the S version.
Altima is a great road trip car I drove my 2020 Altima from Southern California to Chicago and it was the most confortable ride ever I’ve driven other vehicles the same. Distance and I must say the Altima is super comfortable the seats are amazing
The 2021 Altima S is even more stripped down than this 2020 Model. They took out XM Radio and shrunk the screen down, cheapened the gauge cluster, replaced the carpet with what looks like a trunk mat material. The inside of the car is probably the cheapest of any of its competition. They even removed the plastic engine cover for 2021. Can they get any cheaper? Surprised you get 2 front seats. That will probably be gone for 2022.
@@pc24681 very smooth. The acceleration is fluent, and it rides smooth at higher speeds as well. Its a very cozy car on the inside. I absolutely love mine.
I love Nissan, people making me angry talking trash about them because of the CVT. I have seen every manufacturer have their problems even Toyota and Honda now, Nissan hitting the market again.
And MANY car manufacturers are switching over from traditional automatics to CVT's or IVT's i believe one of them is being called. Which is essentially another way of calling it a CVT.
I used to dislike the CVT at first but my aunt recently bought a 2020 Nissan Rogue and it’s actually not bad, my aunt also used to own a 2013 Nissan Rogue the CVT in the 2013 rogue I hated, but now they are much better in my opinion. I’m actually considering the 2021 or 2022 Nissan Altima for my next vehicle.
My daughter owned a 2011 Nissan Altima that the empty console caught on fire and burned the entire front seat area during the night in our driveway. Nissan corporation's response... "it's is older than 4 years so we are not legally obligated to investigate the cause." Lawyer said I would lose thousands trying to sue them for reimbursement and endangering my daughter's life. I WILL NEVER OWN A NISSAN AGAIN!
I'm renting a 2020 Nissan Altima, and it's got a lot of little annoyances. It's like they designed the interior to look good in pictures, instead of making it easy to operate by human. The headlight/wiper controls are not illuminated so you have to turn on the interior light at night to adjust it. The interior light controls are a row of hard-to-see buttons. It's an annoying car to drive at night! Also I hate the radio controls (touch panel) because unlike physical buttons, you can't feel your way around, and it's easy to press the wrong button. Then you gotta pull over to figure the stupid thing out! Oh and there's no interior lights that shine on floor mats, like most cars have. If you drop something while driving at night, you pretty much need to get a flashlight. It's like they half-assed a lot. My biggest complaint though is the stupid diagonal notch on the rear window. It looks goofy, but it also makes it hard to see out the window. Same with the frame between front and back doors. They made it so big it's hard to see to your left or right. The stereo is pretty good, and it's a smooth ride.
Use your blind spot monitors and mirrors for lane changes. And backing up with a camera should not require you to look backwards to your left and right as the view is wide enough to see most of what isn’t covered by the mirrors.
Nice looking car but I just can't trust Asian vehicles anymore.Them engine parts just don't last, owned 2 Mazdas and 1 Nissan in the past and always had engine problems and my Nissan's transmission gave out twice.Thats why I stick to Ford now, have owned a Mustang and an F150 for 15 yrs.not an issue yet!
The body style is fine it's the damn wheels that look BUTT UGLY...!!! Particularly on the base S trim. However, i believe you can option it up via a package deal for better looking rims.

Just bought this exact car!! Had a great offer couldn’t deny it but if you guys can, get the SR! Worth it.
Just purchased one today. Test drive was nice. Got a nice deal. The SR sure looked nice but it was out of my price range. I'll be happy with the S.
Out of curiosity how much was your total? Mine was 24,995 after tax on 0% interest. I’m wondering if I got ripped off. For the S
@@npannu6808 payed 16,9000 for mine 2019 s model
It’s been 7 months, how do u feel about it?
I am thinking about this, I really want a Honda but 10k out of my price range

I am thinking about getting a Altima SR. Do y’all recommend this car?
Altima decent car for the price.

Nice looking vehicle. HATE the alloy wheel choice though.
Those aren't alloys. Those are ugly, cheap wheel covers

Which car do you think is better 2020 Kia forte or 2020 Nissan altima ?
😬😬😬 Altima in terms of styling, Kia in terms of bang for your buck.
Does this vehicle have apple car play?
Yes, wired
Would you recommend this car for a teenager?
Yes, very safe and very easy to operate.
Absolutely, very easy to handle and has good fuel mileage.👍👍
Is the car brand new?
Yes
How come it doesn’t say 2.5 s on the back?
Think they’ve started leaving S trims without badging.
