Hello I am not being mean, just letting you know, piggies do not need/want clothes so please do not clothe him. Also guinea pigs do not enjoy baths and they clean themselves, they only need a bath about every 2-3 years, also even if it is on cool please do NOT blow-dry him just wrap him up in a towel/bathrobe and let him dry on his own, once again not being mean I just want you to be the best pet owner you can be.

I’m so glad that you love your guinea pig but they are not supposed to be bathed it strips natural oils from their skin and you should consider getting another guinea pig to make it more comfortable I am not trying to be mean I am just help with your piggy’s safety❤️❤️

I gave mine a bath the other day and used Johnson’s baby shampoo as Saskia mentioned that a mild shampoo and conditioner should be used.

This made me a little sad I know your a new owner and this is sorta old but don’t bathe your pig they can clean themselves don’t dry then they can dry themselves your striping the oils they produce which is bad I recommend bathing them every 2 to 3 years they clean themselves so they don’t need to be bathed often

i wouldnt use dawn because it dries their skin out i would rather use a baby shampoo
Get him another friend, guinea pigs hate being alone. I would get mine another bc one of mine passed away but I can’t because of civic 19

Yeah, unless they get particularly dirty or a vet says to your not supposed to just bathe them. Guinea pigs clean themselves like cats do.
