Hey, this is amazing! I am so glad someone is making videos on this topic. I would love to connect with you with some questions if you have some time. It would mean a lot! It's a huge shift switching into this and I want to make sure I am doing right.
Absolutely! Feel free to send me an email.
This is a really great series with a lot of helpful info! Thanks for taking the time to explain it. I was wondering if you could share how many students are in your course, how much TA support you have, and how much time you spend grading/organizing with this too. (Maybe this is mentioned later in the series?). Thanks again for the really helpful resource!
Thank you for the comment! I hope it really is helpful. I know people use this system in a variety of settings (large and small). Personally, I work for a small, private college. I teach smaller classes (10-30), no TA's, and I teach several preps. Time spent grading? It can be a lot at times (comes in waves), but I have found that grading individual assignments takes less time and the grading time is more meaningful for me personally.
Do you use an LMS to administer all this?
Yes. I use an Excel grade book but also Canvas. I have videos in the description going over how I do that.
