Sell your clothes online, and donate the money instead, not only will you probably get paid a lot more for the clothes (who doesn't want to own an original Cammie Scott) you also take the workload of selling them, you could also donate the money to someone who doesn't do second hand clothes, like a dog shelter if you want to.

I know you care a lot for dogshelters, and they don't have too many ways to make money, I regulary donate money to a cat/dog shelter, instead of buying present to people who already have everything they need, so they get a donation in their name instead. (and maybe a flower with the card)

I'm not from the South, I'm from California. But I started using "y'all" to replace "you guys" when I learned that "y'all" can be used to be more gender-inclusive. Using "you guys" also seems patriarchal to me, since it's being used as a default (the male gender of the term "guy" being the default to address a given group of people). So, I like to use "y'all" instead.
yeah! I always say you guys and I'm actively trying to stop so I guess I've defaulted to y'all 🤷🏼♀️

Idk how she managed to organize with baskets. for me it’s messier because you can tuck it away versus a shelf you have to see.
I thought it would be the same when I put the shelves in but because it's so hard to put things away since they don't pull out I ended just stuffing stuff in them. The baskets are easier because they slide so I can put things away properly and easily get to the back

Yes, definitely sell the clothes! A lot of thrift stores are overburdened with donations right now, and selling them will guarantee that they end up in a new home (and not in landfills)! Thanks for the great before and after content - very satisfying 👌🏽

My OCD wants you to rotate the shelves on the Jean side so you don’t see the cork board edge but so you can see the white. Other than that keep it up girl Selfcare!!!

ah I wish I could but I actually cut the shelves myself out of longer ones I had. There used to just be a hanging bar in that section so there is no white side, just the wood. Trust me, I'm not happy about it either lol
Do you actually have a real diagnosis? Its one of the ten most disabled illnesses to live with. Second after schizofrenia. Please please please don't use it in that way if you don't really have it. It ruins so much for us that really do. Its absolute hell.
@@Vardagsvegan1 there are many levels of ocd, you can have mild ocd with diagnosis. Not everyone with ocd has the feeling that bad things will happen it's more of an uneasy feeling
@@rosieblythompson4255 then its not ocd. For it to be ocd it have to take up more than two hours every day. Also, ocd can never “feel good”. If it ever feels good it’s not ocd. Ocd can never feel satisfying. I’ve had it my entire life and work with people having it and with specialist here in Sweden so I know this.
How did you find your therapist? Also any advice for finding one when you don’t have health insurance?

I've been the same exact way. I tell everyone how important therapy is and recommend everyone goes but I was so scared. I sort of reached a breaking point and used a site called Zencare to find therapists in my area and then set up 4 different 10 min intro calls all in one day and just picked the person I enjoyed the most and set up my first session. My therapist made me feel so safe and comfy I cannot tell you how great it feels! Good luck, you got this!

You should just buy a jade or rose quartz roller and keep it i the freezer! Less harsh for your face if it’s sensitive too. :)

haha exactly how I felt. I was like oh great I finally get the courage to go and I...can't go lol I am seeing someone via video calls but I made sure to find a therapist in my area so that I eventually can switch over to in person

when I clean I completely black out lol so hard for me to film it. I've tried so many times to film when I go through my clothes to show how I decide what to get rid of but it's all a blur and literally just me going, yeah I don't want this. I am a pro at getting rid of stuff. I have all the clothes still I could go through everything I get rid of and what I buy to replace it :) if you're into that lol

A better and for me far more easy way to do these kind of backgrounds is Photoshop or InDesign, depends on what you are going for. I know these programs need some getting used to but once you got it , they will save you a lot of time :D If anyone needs one.... I'm kinda bored here xD
