Sir I had attended full lecture now I don't have any doubt. Bas ap assertion reason ar case based ki practice kra do... Please🙏🙏🙏. God Kisi ko bhi ar Cataract na ho.... Jab mane suna ye kya hota h i was 😲😱... 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Sir i noticed one thing in finding the power of lens that we are taking u=- ♾️, v=-whatever given then find focal length then power. But instead this I noticed if we directly think whatever is the defect then given which we can put on power. For eg:-- let a person can't see a more than 50cm it is the case of myopia. Assuming it directly as focal length and we know that it is a myopia case then it will be negative. So P=100/f(cm) P=100/-50 P=-2D-------(i) And in same way if we will use lens formula then... I/f=1/v-1/u 1/f=1/-50-(1/ -♾️) 1/f=1/-50 f=-50 Then power.. P=100/f(cm) P=100/-50 P=-2D-------(ii) We got the same value sir... So we can directly use equation (i).... Waiting for your response.. Please answer.... HW question answer.... For distant vision, P=100/f(in cm) -5.5=100/f f=100/-5.5 f=-200/11 cm For near vision, P=100/f(in cm) +1.5=100/f f=100/+1.5 f=+200/3 cm

1- Distant vision:- Given P=-5.5D, we know P=1/f, so, f=1/-5.5= -0.1818m (approx).
2-Near vision:- Given, P=+1.5D, We know that, P=1/f, Therefore, f=1/1.5= 0.66m (approx).

Sir i noticed one thing in finding the power of lens that we are taking u=- ♾️, v=-whatever given then find focal length then power. But instead this I noticed if we directly think whatever is the defect then given which we can put on power. For eg:-- let a person can't see a more than 50cm it is the case of myopia. Assuming it directly as focal length and we know that it is a myopia case then it will be negative. So
P=100/f(cm)
P=100/-50
P=-2D-------(i)
And in same way if we will use lens formula then...
I/f=1/v-1/u
1/f=1/-50-(1/ -♾️)
1/f=1/-50
f=-50
Then power..
P=100/f(cm)
P=100/-50
P=-2D-------(ii)
We got the same value sir... So we can directly use equation (i)....

Ans : To correct his distant vision,
Focal length (f) = 1/ power
f =1 / -5.5
F = -18.1cm
To correct his near distant vision ,
Focal length (f) = 1/ power
f =1 / 1.5
f= 66.7

Physics ab easy ho gya jab sir aap jaise teacher mil jate hai you are great sir
Hiii
😊
Sir exam me Definition bhi aata hai kya?
1.Distant vision:- Given P=-5.5D, we know P=1/f, so, f=1/-5.5= -0.1818m
2-Near vision:- Given, P=+1.5D, We know that, P=1/f, Therefore, f=1/1.5= 0.66m

Most efficient way to self study (without physical tuitions)
1) Watch the whole detailed chapter lecture
2) Watch the most important questions lecture
3) Reading from book (NCERT/Other)

Can anyone tell me why u and v is negative at 1:35:00? It is by default, but why? How it is taken negative? Anyone can tell me the reason behind the sign of u and v?
Because singn convetion says all left side distances taken as negative
Take eye as origin than all left side things as in coordinate and geometry will be negative
Sir chapter refraction through glass prism se shuru hota hai. Baki sab deleted syllabus ka hissa hai.
