Every time Akis put something in the oven, I always thought he was saying: set to fun. The moment I finally realized he was actually saying: set to fan...it was a sad day. I'v never had an oven with a fan option and didn't even know that was a thing lol.
I think most oven in north American don't have the fan/fun options, LOL

If you are not from this part of the world (Greece and Bulgaria mainly) you have no idea how big this pie is for us. In my family we could eat this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in one day. It's monumental. All love for Greece, but Bulgarian feta and yoghurt are arguably as good, if not better. Love u, Akis! :)
Feta is a Greek cheese mate. It's a greek word too. Also greek yogurt, is called greek around the world. Do you have better wine than the French and better mozzarella than the Italians in Bulgaria?

Love you Akis. And great to see you on U.K. tv on ready steady cook. One thing, though. Stop with the disposable gloves! Why were they needed? You were mixing cheese and yoghurt. Using one-use gloves adds to plastic pollution and is unnecessary. Use spoon and fork that you can wash! Please! People who follow you will copy what you’re doing. Set a good example. Lecture over.! And I do love you and your recipes. 💕
I totally agree that the 1 time use gloves is not necessary for non meat ingredients.
I used washable big rubber gloves when I handle meat. During this pandemic, I was thinking that healthcare workers could use more disposable gloves.
@Akis, can you please share your sweet custard phyllo pastry recipe which you made last week on live Instagram? The phyllo were also folded like the accordion but you filled with sweet egg custard. I will make the sweet version first, then this pie. Thank you 🙂

I also check your link, although the custard filing should be the same, but he made it live on Instagram about 10 days ago with a different method. The phyllo was folded like accordion lined up inside a square pan, bake it without the filling first, then the custard was added later, ( I think). I remember it needs heavy cream + milk but I forgot to save the recipe from Instagram "Story" :( so it's now disappear. I have a suggestion to Akis, can the recipe name be in both Greek + English? those of us who can watch his Greek channel wish to be able to do key word search for the recipe, but we cannot type in Greek.
I hope his team will read my question after their Easter break. I learned about the long Easter holiday while in Crete in 2016, 3 days without supermarket to buy Greek yogurt! while I was only visiting for 5 days.
