Of course that applies to the listeners as well because like minded individuals will automatically follow producers that they feel are somehow similar to them, and thats how producers attain their success.

Almost every person who's sucessful in the music business will tell you how important the story is. Whether Joel realizes it or not, he definitely has a story, and the artists on his Label do too. Maybe he just has a different definition of "story" but either way, don't listen to the one-off person. lol

Borgeous and a handful of others that are with Spinnin' Records buy there songs already pre-finished inside the label. Tons of producers can submit tracks and get paid $2,500 + if they sell it... they sometimes then release it as an ID with the front of "guess whose this is???" when in reality no one has bought it yet. If it does well as an ID then some of the bigger artists like a Borgeous of 3LAU will buy it at a price equal in ratio to the proves success it already has had. I only know this because a friend of mine has done it a few times... Interesting world at Spinnin' but no hate bc it's a win win for the most part except for the 'fans' who think their artist actually made the song lol.
