We had one of these on a generator mount on the country estate my father worked on. It was used as emergency power for a small cattle dairy. Last time i saw it was in 1990. It still only had 43 running hours on the tacho gauge at that time. It was purchased at an MOD auction in Amersham UK in 1947/8. The estate also had two running jeeps, a Sherman with turret removed for forestry work and a British Scammel tank recovery truck also for forestry work. The Truck and Jeeps finally gave up in the mid 80's and were scrapped. The Sherman was scrapped late 70's.
