I started watching these two around the time I graduated high school. Now I watch them with my boyfriend and our relationship is really similar. It's crazy. I'm really sure he's my version of Evan and I'm very excited to be with him. I can relate to how Katelyn wrote in her diary and later added to her vows that she hasn't even kissed him yet but knew they were gonna get married. I'm the same with mine, and I haven't kissed him yet. He does live about a state away so it has to wait for a bit. But we should be meeting this summer, that is the plan. You'll find your Evan someday! I believe!

tbh this entire story is a masterclass of how u can communicate effectively with ur partner about the idea of being married & getting engaged soon while still managing a surprise proposal that they'll love and honestly i feel blessed to have heard it
Love it! We did something similar. First off, my wife was thrown off when she thought she knew when it was going to happen, because I was like, “oh yeah, we can just go in a few weeks,” all nonchalantly (I’m terrible at keeping secrets like that), when the plans fell through.
Then I took her to an aquarium nearby where they have a tank of small sharks you can “pet”. Pet in that you run your hands along their backs as they swim by. One of her favorite animals.
And I too, cut out a ton of pages from a book (technically a blank journal with one of her other favorite animals (an owl) on the front (an actual book she would have killed me for destroying it)) and placed the ring, hanging from a ribbon, in the middle.
I squealed and squeaked for my proposal too haha. I feel you, Katelyn
I live so vicariously throughout you guys. Your love, your companionship, your synergy, all of it is literally #goals. I know it's cliche, but you guys are better than a hallmark movie. I hope to be watching you guys til the end of time ❤️

this is so adorable you guys are the definition of goals
For me the 50 people reunion is small. My grandpa's side of the family's reunion is generally over 150 people. Every time it is like were taking over the park. Fun story!

Found Evan and Katelyns UA-cam channel during lockdown with my now Fiancé and we immediately loved them. Last night he said "they're so adorable. They remind me of us" and knowing that they're married, but still have fun and muck around like children together makes me so hopeful that its possible to be best friends throughout marriage and not lose that happiness together. You guys are adorable. You make me undoubtedly excited for my future with my man ❤

My family reunion has upwards of 100 people of everybody is there we switch between 3 locations so only some show up for a certain location
