Oh shut up u dramatic piece of shit! The odds of ur aircraft crashing and u dying at even an airport like this are extremely rare! U are more likely to die driving ur car but every time u get out of ur car do u say yay I’m still alive?
My family is from Tegucigalpa and I grew up landing here, and as an international airline crew member I can honestly say there is no approach like this one! Toncontín will be missed with the opening of Palmerola. Thank you guys for the love, comments and suggestions! ❤🇭🇳✈
@@tjfSIM as of now date is set to be around Nov 17. Spirit is supposed to operating the inaugural commercial flight into the military base. New code will be XPL
These Pilots did great! Besides this is a complicated approach.. Pilots are forced to touch down a little after the threshold. Runway is very short and very unforgiven. on top of this some times you get wind shears, hot temps. plus mountains around , steep decent and elevation which air molecules are less and all aircrafts are required to flight with more airspeed.... This is a Special Landing. This airfield is a good test for good pilots !.
I'm a retired airline pilot. As a passenger I always get nervous when a pilot floats the plane searching for a smooth landing. You're wasting your stopping distance! At an airport like TGU, firm is always better!
Out of numerous landings here since I was a kid, this one was def more on the rough side since they extended the runway. I remember growing up the AA 727 would bounce on touchdown from how fast they would have to come in. TGU will be missed! Thanks so much for watching!
Title should read "Perfect firm landing at TGU" he didn't even roll to the end!
Yes impressive he didn't even have to use the last exit! Thanks so much for watching
They don’t mess around with floaty soft landings here - getting it down on the numbers is the priority.
You survived = excellent landing.

Anakin Skywalker was it necessary to be this rude?

I am all about my landings in TGU! The faster the approach the better! Love the adrenaline rush

Yes. Best landing out there for us AV geeks and def one that will be missed!
That ✈️ is way huge
For Tegucigalpa, I understand why. Those gears can handle some pressure either way, and everyone walked away untouched.

That was rough tho
That’ll be a multiple tire change…
She read the wrong script...... lol
Why very rough? A little shaky when he put it down but thats all.
Prime objective on landing … get the plane on the ground. Done.
That is always a rough landing. Palmerola is much smoother.
Hard landing
Yes it was...tegucigalpa was not meat to be a city...it was a gold mine..a former president decided so!.
