I love that they don't rush anything, each song takes you on a journey where every part is unique and so detailed and beautiful. My brother says he doesn't like Tool because they "never get to the point" but to me that often IS the point, you're meant to enjoy the now. That might not make any sense lol but I know what I mean!
Going to a TooL concert is like going on a trip😎👍🏻 I can not wait, May of this year is supposed to be the release of the next album. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 I love your channel!
That was beautiful, don't apologise. I know what it feels like to experience a song that moves you to tears...it seems at that moment in time you really needed to hear what you heard 🙏love and light to you🙏
Tool definitely been visited by an advance race, Caduceus cellar's make some amazing wine, Maynard's insignia is Merlin's healing staff with the two snakes.
Thank you for recommending this! I really like the voice of the singer and their instrumentals are quite different from the usual. Though, i've only heard one song lmao...
Ha Mana, so cool watching you react to one of my favorite songs. Keep up with the Tool reviews, always good stuff. Anything Maynard really is good, would be interested to see you review some A Perfect Circle and Puscifer. Rock On!
I’m can tell by the way your body moves, that you have been gifted with a natural understanding of music in all its forms. Best reaction/review channel I have seen.
Maynard's lyrics pull you, he is a pretty smart guy and a verbal genius. The band behind his lyrics really makes Tool. I first heard of tool in high school and was gonna go to a show and had gotten my ticket months prior. One of my good friends wasn't able to get his ticket until day of show and they had already sold out by the time we got there. I hadn't really listen to them at that time And decided my friend should have the tickets you could tell he was devastated he was going to miss the show. To this day my only regret is i haven't been able to see tool live. It seems as though I was given only that one opportunity to see them perform live so incredibly sad and unfortunate for me, but my friends appreciated it and saw the show. Maynard's style and voice are what I strive to achieve someday and most likely won't . Just wanted to share that
@@Someguyy867 i'm close to 40 lol half way of 30 years there anyway. As ive gotten older my voice has gotten better. And you're right eventually I'll just get it and be up there in the far reaching next to Maynard lol (but still very distant). Vocally I can get up there next to him lyrically no where near. As for the comment host below THAT my friend is gifted not the talent it's self. Learning how to say your vowels, musical or creativity and having breath control are learned writing the way he does is not learned.
Don't worry so much about trying to explain Tool. The great thing about them is they can be perceived completely different by different people. You don't listen to Tool, you experience them. You'll realize some day you perceive certain songs differently at different times. I've listened to the Aenima album thousands of times since its release, and it feels like I'm still hearing new things and getting a better understanding. Btw.... try "Right In Two" ;)
Not sure if you listen to Lamb of God but any song from the Ashes of the Wake album is amazing. Literally every track is mind blowing, mind you the title track is an instrumental with 3 solo's
I enjoy React videos like this because it makes me feel like I'm jammin with you. In the current state of Covid, this connectedness is awesome and I appreciate it. Thank you
I’ve never clicked a reaction video so fast and I even paused it so I could write this. LOVE and miss your Tool reactions, so I know it will be awesome.
still a couple months behind... but yes tool like you said to deep to quickly describe... here comes more maynard... i suggest a perfect circle... the noose... live at red red rocks is the ultimate... anything from that show is intense! they did 3 albums straight through in three nights... then cut it down to a dvd but every second of every song is worth digesting... be well mana... j.
You are so cute. I’ll try to make this as simple as possible. If you listen to the two albums that came before, you would see the change, and growth. This is where all that work pays off. Yes finally become one, mind body and spirit. Embracing every moment, staying present, and smelling the grapevines, if you will. Lol
I wanna tell a terrifying story about this song. Im not a spiritual person but I swear to you all this happened. I was in Arizona in Sedona and there was this family and their daughter looked interesting. Her eyes were a weird blue and she just seemed different.. She came up to me and said "Oh cool youre listening to tool" (I was listening to this song she heard it from my earphones) I said "wow haha you know and like them?" This girl was like 9... Suddenly though she fucking started telling me about my life.. She knew things no one could no she knew names and places and said that even though I was depressed id be okay... I went back to my hotel that night in fucking shock.. Her mom told her not to "read random people".. She says "oh sorry mommy but he needed to hear that" She says "I came here to remind people to love and remember who they really are" Till this day im blown away and this song always reminds me of her. Ellie if you ever see this YOU'RE AWESOME! Keep that light in your heart going! ❤
i can only assume ive left a comment on this reaction already mana. its super duper new to me to see the shadows of your window shades waving back & forth in the background though. it all works together. thanks again. be well. j.
Mana, if you said Holy Sh%t, to "Romanticide", from Nightwish, listen to Slaying the Dreamer. It's a punch in your stomach, just like "Romanticide" is. You're gonna love it, I guarantee!!! The initial guitar riff is not what you expect from Nightwish as well, as you said about "Romanticide". It's simply amazing too!!! I love this riff. The riff that is played about 3:05, is fantastic too. Listen to this song. The final scream that Floor does is from another world, just like the scream from "Romanticide". They are different, but equally amazing!!!! ua-cam.com/video/ZN708NDvhO4/v-deo.html
No one sounds like them. There is alot of bands that go progressive but not the way they do! Thats why i have a few tool's albums! The coolest is 10,000 days! the artwork there is 3D there but my fav is totally the album Lateralus.
new band to react to maybe... all them witches. one of my favs is elk.blood.heart, but they have several good ones EDIT: i'm an older guy (39) and I haven't found many metal bands that I approve of in recent years, but these guys...they are the real deal
Jou reaksie is wonderlik, dankie vir jou oorspronklik reaksie. Tool vir my is 'n band soos geen ander nie, want dit oorskry tyd en ruimte. Ek hoop jy verstaan my afrikaans. As jy ooit in Portugal is, daar is baie mense wat die selfde dink en jy is baie welkom om te bly. Ek hoop jy is goed , lekker bly. Peace
Hey Mana, new sub here. I enjoy your videos. Especially the Tool ones. If I may, check out 3 Libra's by A Perfect Circle. One of my all-time favorites. Oh, by the way you are so cute.
Me and a few friends will travel to Prague in June to see them live again after 13 years 😃😃😃 I can't wait for it 😄 Are you going to watch them live too?
ALrighty then.... the thing about tool is they are a direct reaction to post grunge hardcore, and just as pink floyd was a reaction to the resurgence of jazz influenced rock, tool is the reaction to a modality of listening, not a contribution. Dischord and angst mixed with hope and supreme expectation. It is okay to be angry at the situation, even hands held high, but you have to understand how and why that particular means of angst came about.
Please react to "Keyhole in the sky" by Rishloo! Actually, the whole "Feathergun" album is awesome! I got to know them because I was listening to Ænima (album) on Spotify (I've uploaded my own playlist), as soon as the playlist finished, that song started playing.
"We are eternal, this pain is an illusion." Love Maynard's lyrics so much.
I love that they don't rush anything, each song takes you on a journey where every part is unique and so detailed and beautiful. You wrote this perfectly. I feel the same. Music is not about getting to the point. It's about capturing you in the moment and to enjoy it.
My brother says that he 'grew out of tool'...lol!!
Going to a TooL concert is like going on a trip😎👍🏻 I can not wait, May of this year is supposed to be the release of the next album. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 I love your channel!
So true. Its maybe my most favorite song by tool. :)
tool is not only music, tool is a religion...
I like the coincidence of you trying to remember if you've reacted to this song and the first line spoken is, "So familiar . . ."
This song sent me places after I took a heroic dose of psilocybin. It was the most profound experience I have ever had, and I am forever changed.
It never, ever fails. That outro brings me somewhere. I end up closing my eyes an drifting into some kind of auditory ecstasy. Great video.
That was beautiful, don't apologise. I know what it feels like to experience a song that moves you to tears...it seems at that moment in time you really needed to hear what you heard 🙏love and light to you🙏
also so great after 13yrs they are coming out with a new album in a few months, can't wait i love their music.🎸🍺
Fake news
It’s real dude lol. Maynard even said so himself.
August 30th🤘🤘
It's pretty good!
Tool definitely been visited by an advance race, Caduceus cellar's make some amazing wine, Maynard's insignia is Merlin's healing staff with the two snakes.
I believe the staff was Caduceus I could be wrong.
I can still feel what is was like to see them live, the sound hits you and wraps you up,geez it even moved my hair...
Tool let’s me witness the beauty, fathom the power, bath in the fountain
Swing on the spiral
Yeah but when was the last time you wept like a widow, brah?
But has it taught you grammar?
Parabola is my favorite Tool song. Vocals, arrangement, bass, drums and those dope ass Eddie Van Halen style guitars. And that solo is wicked.
This is a very important piece of music for me. I’m so glad you did this.
Puscifer- The humbling river
I also requested that a few weeks back. Epic song. His son Devo does vocals on that song. I think he was only l like 13 when he layed them down
The song is mesmerising
I’d like to recommend an Australian band called Karnivool, song “New Day” - it gives me chills every time, I think you’d enjoy it!
While we're throwing Australian bands out there - Sleepmakeswaves, Tundra or King Parrot, Shit on the Liver
Yesss!
Yesss Karnivool are the shit, albums Sound Awake and Themata are crazy good
Ayyy fellow Vool fan!!!!
Thank you for recommending this! I really like the voice of the singer and their instrumentals are quite different from the usual. Though, i've only heard one song lmao...
So good to find another female who gets as excited about Tool as I do 🤘
Beautiful reaction !! It’s a masterpiece, love them too 🥁
I love your Tool reactions. So genuine.
Puscifer - Agostina. It's about his baby daughter, beautiful song.
Ha Mana, so cool watching you react to one of my favorite songs. Keep up with the Tool reviews, always good stuff. Anything Maynard really is good, would be interested to see you review some A Perfect Circle and Puscifer. Rock On!
The way they build their songs up is fucking phenomenal
The Outsider by A Perfect Circle 🍻
Best song eva.
YES
This band is just out of this world...
It's hard for something to be better than Lateralus, but I feel Parabol/a pulled it off quite nicely.
I’m can tell by the way your body moves, that you have been gifted with a natural understanding of music in all its forms. Best reaction/review channel I have seen.

Lead singer of Iron Maiden spent time mastering his vocals. I’m sure you can if you put a lot of effort into it bud.

You did well, the segue between parabol/parabola still scares the shit out of my girlfriend in the car. The volume change is sick 😆
Maynard's other bands A Perfect Circle/The Package or Puscifer/Autumn if you love his voice I highly recommend
The flesh and the power it holds- Death.
TOOL EULOGY, PUSHIT, OR H ALL ARE AMAZING
Well lady. Now you like tool. Can't ever go back now lol.

Puscifer - Horizons
Sweet reaction :) I suggest alternative bands ; Indukti - Freder from Poland and Karnivool-Goliath from Australia.
I'm not sure if I'm too late or not, but do a video for fear inoculum. Just like the song opens, immunity ... long overdue.
Love your Tool reactions! But I’d also like to recommend A Perfect Circle. Specifically, The Outsider please!
