Shave Wars: Gillette Mach3 vs. Mach3 Turbo - Which Razor is Best for the average guy?

- Welcome back to Shave Wars on average guy tested! In this epic showdown, we pit Gillette's Mach3 against the Mach3 Turbo to find out which razor truly stands out for the average guy. Over the course of 10 days, I put both razors to the test in a series of daily shaves to evaluate their performance, comfort, and value.
Due to the overwhelming feedback and numerous comments from you all asking for more Shave Wars, I’ve decided to combine 10 individual videos into one MEGA SHAVE WARS video. This way, you can see the real-world difference between these two almost identical razors over an extended period.

The Mach 3 will always remain special to our hearts especially for us old geezers. I still use the Turbo with the old metal Mach 3 handle in the razor.

I also agree with you Tony Gillette should had stopped with the Mach 3 and given a trimmer on the back instead of making those Fusion 5 pro glide

Gillette Mach 3 Razor is my all time favourite and I have been using it for so many years . Mach 3 is the best razor for me.

Indeed. Defender is an interesting concept, but they have limited distribution.
i love the old classic regular mach 3 head design (Was produced until 2017) .
It was produced from 1998-2017 and had less micro fins, and in my opinion it is more aggressive, you feel the blade more on the face, it has more BLADE GAP for sure, and it is much more efficient than the current MACH 3.

@@averageguytested I have no idea.. they have no sense. Good things don't need to be changed. I wish they would bring him back. If you noticed they also changed the Gillette Fusion. 10 years ago the classic gillette fusion head was blue and the trimmer on the back was orange and it was very sharp and good and lasted a long time it was also more aggressive than today's fusion. You can do a web search, it looks exactly the same as the Gillette Fusion 5 Classic Orange. But its color was blue. As for the old mach 3 it is still sold in Europe under the name Gillette mach 3 Start, note that it is the old design and only has 5 micro fins

original mach 3 was more comfortable had thicker blades

I wouldn’t mind trying a Mach 3 one day. Tbh I should’ve tried it years ago but my Gillette labs gets me 23 shaves until the shave becomes uncomfortable. And I’m not far off from getting the heated razor. I think people spend their money on lots of expensive crap these days why not my razor? It’s more important than getting a new phone every year 😂

Love your videos, The mach 3 in my opinion is probably the best cartridge razor ever released its popular, and not to expensive, I'm do like the mach 3 turbo better than the original mach 3, but its still not bad. You don't need 5 blades and waste money on the expensive fusion

I Used my sensor excel for the 3rd time tonight and so far very little tugs or pulls and I even bought a pack of sensor 3 blades to try from my wife and my local Walmart

@@mangOO0548 I haven't tried the 3 yet I just got them Thursday and I had to get them with the handle attached since our Walmart doesn't sell the carts separately

The Mach3 razor was released in North America during the last week of June 1998. It was first sold in Europe in September 1998. i started out in the early 90´s with Gillette Contour Plus. 😁 anywhozzel great shaving video " show off" i like both, heeeeeeeey thats not fair you stated 15 days shave off not a switch off oh yes continue Mach3 Turbo need to know if it really can go 15 shaves

Tony... my favorite shave scent from PAA dropped today... cheap... no... but well worth it... can't suggest it enough... it's called Old Salty... BTW it's a balmy 108 degrees here🙄

I’ve heard of the Mach3 Charcoal, but I’ve never used it.

I only use the mach 3 turbo. I get a nice shave with it.

While I enjoy shaving somewhat i hate how expensive they are i bought my sensor 3 and they were around 12 dollars for a pack of 9 it's ridiculous

Crazy i used to use mach 3 to shave and it was nice but it was more cost effective to just buy a new one. But I've managed to just use the store brand 2 blade throw away blades for a fraction of the price with the same result. If you know how to shave it don't matter what you use. These gimmicks are ridiculous
Barbasol 6 blade is better & cheaper. Gillette is overpriced. Anyway when you doing a head shave?

new mach 3 blades are nothing like the old ones . they changed design 2016 made blades thinner made them crap uncomfortable

My wife and I have great water pressure in our apartment but the water takes a whilee to get warm do you think i should use cold water or warm
