Thanks! I just purchased one at home goods for $20. Thought it was a really good deal. I have a larger Ninja blender but I just wanted something that was simpler, just one piece that I could quickly bring out and wash in a few minutes for smoothies. Looking forward to trying it!
a really decent review -- thank you. I have a Vitamix that I use constantly (usually more than once a day) but the large container isn't ideal for making things like dressings, sauces, & homemade sour cream since I'm making only enough for two people. I need something that will make those dressings, sauces, etc but can do a good job. I think this may be perfect for what I'm looking for.

The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!
great video!!! My top question was whether it could handle ice so really appreciated you covering that. (I don't get how it can't handle ice but you say it can handle nuts but I'll take your word for it).
It can handle ice, but the manufacturer recommends you put in some liquid as well.
it handles coffee grinds. i just used it for the first time. it is a little on the chunky side, so I had to add some water to liquify. you just have to find the right thickness....also, it's LOUD. keep that in mind.
It handles ice fine when you pulse it. I just purchased one a couple days ago

I use mine daily for my non ice smoothies and protein shakes. I also like to use it for my salsas that are a little to chunky. It’s compact and is great to take on trips for wanting to making health shakes.
Are the cups glass or plastic?

Thanks for the review. I just took it out of my shopping cart because it lost me at "not dishwasher safe" and "doesn't chop ice." So glad I didn't have to learn this the hard way!
Everything except the crossblades & motor base can be done in your dishwasher! And it does handle ice.
I love mine, only a smoothie maker, and I have a blender for other tasks..

Yall. DO NOT BUY. I just got the medium sized one and made a smoothie with it, and it was great it worked but it had a little bit of smoke smell coming out of it. Then, I was making another smoothie for my blender and it kept smelling bad and I finished the smoothie and was blending it for the last second and it just stopped: I poured out everything and cleaned it and tried to make it work and it just wouldn’t. The thing sucks. 2 smoothies and it broke. 1/10
