- After dismantling a few pallets for my dream workshop project, I have found the quick and easy working sequence, with only simple tool. I would like to share how I strip the pallet with only a sledgehammer, claw hammer and some scrap wooden blocks. It took me average of 15 minutes to dismantling a pallet, but of course it depends on the type of pallets.
I hope this is helpful. Thanks for watching.
IMPRESSIVE! This is a good lesson on 'If there is a will, there is a way', and you don't need a garage full of tools to get the job done.
Loved watching you taking that Pallet apart. Thank you!
Now that's what I call "smart working". And I like how you used the tools you restored to dismantle the pallet, another thing I appreciate about your videos is that you don't play annoying background music like most UA-camrs do, most of the time I won't even watch a video more than 1 minute if there is annoying background music, thank you.
Thanks 😊 i played music in some of my videos though 😆
Thank you! Such an effective process. Take down a pallet in 20 min. But the most important thing this video has taught me. When you look at a pallet, check the nail pattern first. I have pallets with great wood but 6 nails at each join. Never again will I take ones with more than 2 nails....ùnless the wood is top notch.
brilliant, so simple when brain applied to the task, best method I have seen
That is a great method that keeps the wood as intact as possible, I really like it. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks 😊 and to keep the nail holes, which keeps the weathered look of pallet
So it just methodical and deliberate work with the lever, pulley and inclined plane as our friends. Such a smart lady.
Best video for simple yet strategic pallet deconstruction. Worked wonders! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks 😊
Really smart, no fancy tools, perfect for me and exactly what i need. Keep it up!
You so rock Lady!!!
Thanks so much for the pointers! I will definitely do this method for the skids I've been procrastinating on disassembling
Thanks too 😊
I wanted to do it like this today but my pallets have small space in between so my wooden blocks were too big, i have to do another palette tomorrow and i think it's worth cutting some blocks for the purpose. Thank you :)
Thanks for taking the time to share. Very simple technique for breaking down pallets, as already mentioned elsewhere, without a garage full of specialist tools. I've got a pallet sitting outside as I write - came with a delivery of OSB - and I think I'll give your method a go right now.
Ur the best I've seen, got me beat, and I'm crafty thanks
Thanks! Practice makes perfect
Probably the best way I've seen anyone do that. Tysm.
Thanks 😊 hope it help you with dismantling
This is amazing! Easy method with bare essential tools. Thank you!
Thanks 😊
this is genious. it may be a bit nooisier tha using a "pallet buster" but its a lot cheaper, perfect for peopple starting with pallets.
Awesome, you go girl
Very clever idea, congratulations. Thank you !
Little girl, big hammer does the trick every time! Go girl!
Brilliant yet simple. Thanks!
Amazing video thank you for sharing. So satisfying seeing those boards lined up in the end. Great work, the effort is worth no split boards :D
Nice and easy method, little bit similar how i dismantle pallets. Very Good job for a lady. Thanks for sharing
Thanks 😊
That is most ingenious way to do this. Thanks for sharing
Thanks 😊
❤ maravilhoso vídeo ❤
Obrigada 🙏🇧🇷🇧🇷🙏
Perfect. Easy way and no power tools.
No I haven’t looked at the comments yet, so maybe someone has said this but first I wanna say I’m an old guy, so I’m not bending down and crawling around on the floor and playing whack-a-mole with these pallets I was fortunate enough to find one of those pry tools on Facebook marketplace for 30 bucks so it was worth it for me.however, I would suggest for her to maybe make some kind of table and then find a piece of wood, log enough that extends the entire length of the pallet and cut, however many other little prop boards that she needs, so she just hast to put everything in once wacko slide him to the middle wackos pull the big board out, stick a little prop boards on the other side and take care of the other side. I think I’d save her a lot of time. Again, I haven’t read the comments so if somebody’s already said this, forgive me. Good luck to you young lady. It’s always good to see people utilizing resources that are available mostly for free and turning them in to something useful.
You handle that big mallet like nothing, respect.
😆
WOW ! SO SMART !!
Smartest outhere! Thank you!
Thanks 😊
Very easy. Thanks a lot for sharing.
Awesome video thanks… work smart and not hard.
Excellent!
Genius .
Worked like a charm!
Im a straight woman not a creeper, I just wanted to say... I wish I looked that cute while working!
Yes she's a cutie. :)
😄😄
This is so much cheaper than a Pallet Buster, and faster than a scissors jack.
I put a strong magnet in my glove so I can stick nails to the back of my hand when I'm pulling them out.
Good girl!❤️
Wow, I just did those 1/2 hour ago, it took me a lot more than 1 or 2 hits, perhaps the nails are not the twisted type nails.
Oh yeah! Those twisted ones, I've recently come across nails that have these little copper-looking barbs, such a *PAIN* to pull! And if the head breaks off, pretty much impossible to work out of the wood!
You just need a sledge hammer that is heavy enough 😊
The best idea !! Perfecto !!
Thanks 😊
I would never argue with a lady who can handle a heavy hammer like you. Why don't you make a low stand to put the pallets on, to same kneeling. Good video
Thanks for watching! And appreciate the suggestion! It was definitely 'waist breaking' haha.. should have focus more on the working ergonomic 😊
Some kind of table would be even better especially for old guys who can’t bend like they used to
Tried that, it didn't work for me. All the pallets where I am have twisted nails in them, and do not come out easily at all. Unfortunately.
Same. All of my pallets have rusted nails. I saw one guy use a car jack. May try that next.
Is your hammer more than 2lb? I tried with big fork hammer at first and it didnt work as well.. then i changed to sledgehammer 😊 hope it helps
Seems line a easier way then i do with a pallet breaker bar. Hmmm gonna cut some pieces tomorrow and try it your way. One thing tho. I do have a new denailer and am itching to use it. 😂😅😂😅😊
Best ever
Methodically removed those nails. I like it!👍
Very smart!
😄
You wouldn't mind doing some more DIY projects out of pallets?
Молодец, рпекрасно расправилась с поддоном. С удовольствием подписался, ну и лайк 👍
I usually hate people commenting security concerns, and now I am doing it myself… when I was a child, I did something similar and managed to run a rusty nail right through my hand. Dad drove me to hospital, mum bought me a LEGO-ship for being so brave… :-)
Please, get yourself in the habit to put wood with nails in it always “face down“, so the nails point to the ground. The day WILL come you are just steping back for reaching that screwdriver and… someone has to get you a LEGO ship. And those are expensive!
Hello my friend! Sure! Will keep the Lego lesson in mind, safety first! 😉😊
Esses pregos usados nesses paletes são lisos porque os de rosca utilizados aqui nunca vão sair com esse método!
There is something for everyone on Stodoys plans website.
😊
@@theymaker125 👍👍👍
Omg this is so smart
😁
That's good if you got a concrete floor but try doing the same thing on grass
how to strip a pallet with simple cheap tools (un-powered) in just over 10 minutes
yeah that dude's video is a lie too
You are my hero
😇
How long did it took you?
Nice
Thanks 😊
Not so easy if the nails are spiral or ring shank which is more common. Easy if straight plain old 8d nails were used.
I like it but the nails in my pallets are all bent over and nailed in the opposite side of the nail head
Knew there must be a better way.
I like it but I’m an old man so the bending over and the extra time it takes to be knocking the nails out on the floor and stuff probably wouldn’t go this route I usually cut the nails too about an inch or two and then knock them out it’s a lot easier the girl had great skills though
Hi this is great! I need to try this. How many pounds (or kilos) is your sledgehammer?
I dont quite remember..i think is 4lb?
Well done! Seems like a lot of work just for some nails.
😂
Isnt this black part mold? And how do you use such wood if there is mold on it? Can you simply put it into a thicknesser? Wont it then go into the air and when working in a small room without a lot of fresh air this could be really bad for the health no? I also today disassebled a pallet that looked better but similar at some points and im not sure how to handle those.
WaAaw!!!
you can't use this method on epal pallets. they're very tough
I found an easier way to do it then what you're showing your way works good too but this is got a long handle on it you don't have to bend over as called a pallet buster
The girl who can carpentry is attractive asf in my opinion
아놔 이런 방법이있었네..
Now If only someone could Invent a machine that does this? :) could earn extra $$$ :)
By George I think she's onto 🤔something
✌️✌️✌️🌹🌹🌹
u're cute & smart.
but also time-consuming
lmao, what are these pallets, for transporting fluffy bears? no way you can do that on 90% of real pallets
not very quick is it now ,well quick in the eyes of a woman
Your putting me to shame.
