Winnipeg fire fighters battle industrial fire on Logan ave Sunday

Winnipeg fire crews battle industrial fire Sunday evening on Logan:
Shortly before 6:00 pm Sunday evening, Winnipeg fire fighters got reports of a fire in a commercial building in the 800 block of Logan ave.
Crews arrived and found heavy smoke and flames coming from the structure. Crews deployed and began to fight the fire defensively. Crews could not enter the structure due to dangerous fire conditions inside.
Fire fighters used multiple handlines and an Ariel ladder to help extinguish the fire. A emergency demolition crew was called in to help gain access interior of the structure to help extinguish the fire.
The building was later demolished. The cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
