Boy do I miss having him. I think he was the most undervalued player on the team because he did his job always and he was one hell of a fielder. He wasn't afraid to lay out and he was able to play then entire infield.
I was headed to Oakland for Game 3 of the A's/Tigers that year...watching this now, the Reds REALLY blew a great chance...they may have been able to capture the flag themselves. Wasted chance
I still cant believe this happened. Bailey pitched such a good game but the reds wasted chances including when phillips tried to stretch a play to 3rd getting thrown out and then the reds got a hit right after which would have scored him. Scott Rolen who is SURE HANDED then proceeded to botch the play in the 10th inning but the real issue was Hannigan just letting a ball go by him allowing the winning runner to 3rd base. Reds didnt lose 3 straight games at home all season long until the playoffs of course
Yup, if phillips didnt try to stretch the play to 3rd and just stayed put on 2nd, the bases would have been loaded with 1 out and bruces single easily would have scored 2 runs....
Well, Hannigan was also a part of a huge strike 'em out, throw 'em out double play the Giants had in game 5 of this series as well when he got caught looking. That dude cost the Reds in this series for sure. Although, as a Giants fan I must say, we got really lucky in this series. Cueto getting hurt was big, Phillips getting thrown out in the first inning of game 3 was big, The passed ball in the 10th inning was big, Rolen bobbling that ball was big. If any of those things don't happen, the Reds probably win the series.
Yeah exactly, it really sucked but at least the giants winning meant they won the entire thing rather than just getting swept or something in the next series
I feel so bad for Cincinnati fans. The Bengals' choke and their antics embarrass them and they really love their Reds who have really done nothing since 1990.
its hard to be a Cincy fan but we still believe in our Reds, Bengals, and Bearcats..things will change and i will be here when the city of Cincinnati has somethin to celebrate.
I remember watching this game with my family in our Giants gear. We got excited when Posey scored But when Romo steps to the plate: Okay who gave a kid a bat and helmet?

...I still don't get why Dusty didn't walk Arias there. Giants have a relief pitcher on deck, the only bench player left for the Giants is a poor-hitting backup catcher, and you've got an open base. The only way that's more of an IBB situation is if its someone like Barry Bonds batting.
There’s no other explanation than to say Cincinnati is cursed... and it’s upsetting
the only club that worried me as a Giants fans in 2012 was the Reds..tremendous comeback for the Giants to rally from down 0-2 in the series..
Thank you Joaquin Arias.

Fuck no they we rent caputrng shit.
@@patrickramirez5840 The reds were 1 game away from beating the eventual champs. They killed everyone else but struggled with the reds.
They lost period.
Its not over til its over
@@MrBobbyBoucher1 not all all man they were down 3-1 next series. Giants r just good. U guys suck

@@paulrippetoe I think the the reds would of won the series but respect for the San Francisco Giants
thank you VERY much. just added all 11 2012 Post season Giants W's to my favorites
First time the Reds are swept at home all season
1:50:20 As a Giants fan I'll be completely honest. I had hope that we would win, but god damn was I demoralized because he was ON FIRE
at 24:42 is when the tide turned for the reds. Nothing went right for them after that.
The guy with the red brooms makes me LOL now.
Oh, and I think Dusty Baker voted down this video.
Dusty Baker and Scott Rolen.
Also something karmic about the Reds fans waving white towels...
@@caliscribe except they’re towels not flags
I won 3 grand on the Reds this year. they were good all year long. I forget who they were facing but Cueto was pitching. 3 grand! -1.5 on an even bet.

Actually since 95 when they won a playoff series vs the Dodgers
now if only i could do the same with the 2010 LCS & LDS (it let me save the 2010 WS to my favorites so idk why it's not letting me save the others
3:40:35 is where the giants playoff run begins
8 time Gold Glover Hall of Famer botches a short hop to lose the game. I was in disbelief in the bleachers in LF.
Hunter rally the troops. The start of a great run. Dusty should still be managing somewhere now. Reds and Nats still suck.
This is brutal. Gets worse every time I watch
i believe they are 0-4 at great american in the playoffs

24:37 THIS is what lost the game. Reds had a good rally in the 1st, but that baserunning mistake by Phillips ended up being costly.
Hard to criticize Bochy, but Vogelsong could have struck out just as well as the overweight, out of shape Huff.
I was there. Awful for reds fans.
