I still don't understand what happened to the Cardinals in this series. It looks like we simply ran out of gas. Such a shame, we had a great team that year.
this was the last game the 2012 World Champion San Francisco Giants would lose....the Giants had the great club, never say die, the 2012 Giants are for All-Time..

Also, the cardinals had sooo many of their best players hurt/out for the playoffs they lost Lance Berkman, and Rafy Furcal. Also Chris Carpenter never should have been pitching. He came back in September, and was horrible only throwing 86 87 MPH. If we were healthy we would have beat the Giants Easily.
@@charliebobandas6794 lucky? you could say that about any team dude. you could even say the Cardinals got lucky with david friese hitting that triple to tie the game against the rangers in 2011. 2010 Giants pitching was out of this world, absolutely phenomenal. its all about getting hot at the right time. in 2012 giants swept the reds while down 0-2, then swept the cardinals down 3-1. then swept the Tigers 4-0, twice with back to back shutouts. thats not luck, thats called they played great baseball to win. all sports have a some sort of "luck" involved, its sports. but you still have to play and win which requires skill. your comment is really stupid

t flo the Cardinals should of won. The Giants got lucky.
@@willthomas274 Lucky? How? It's not like the series swung on some kind of fluke play. The Giants pitchers just flat dominated the last three games.
The Cardinals should have won. The Giants had no business winning this WS
@@mrcnub nope. The flukes play was lance lynn globing the double play.
The Giants gave up more runs in this game (8) than the next seven games combined (7).
The Tigers sucked. No offense. Lol

Love the look on Timmy Lincecum's face; "Why won't these guys swing at this crap I'm throwing?"
and yet has 2 cy youngs 2 no hitters and 3 world series
@@markjones3213 bahahahhaah. Shouldn’t have three World Series. The Cardinals should have won 3 straight WS titles. Giants got lucky.
