  • Full walkthrough for how I treat Strung Fuzzy Fiber in a Dubbing Loop. The result is a Blunt faced silhouette (Bulkhead) imitation that is fully synthetic - full profile and water push, without the buoyancy for deeper presentations and faster sink rates.
    All the best

I just posted a video this week and had two thread beaks in it. Debated on editing it out. It makes me feel a lot better seeing it in your videos too. 👍
Your videos are some of the best explaining tying tutorials out there!

How would it affect the action of a deceiver if I finish it with a longer craft fur dubbing loop? Two stacks tied in straight, three reverse bulkhead stacks of increasing thickness, and then long craft fur head draped over the bucktail. Worried it might affect the density/water push, as the bucktail butts are concentrated from the 50% point on the shank to the 25% point, with the craft fur on the front quarter.

Did you Add Eyes to the fly, or was it meant to be a Slugo type soft jerk bait?

Great tutorial as usual! Would it be possible to use EP fibers instead of Fuzzy fibers with the same result? Thank you to share all your knowlegde with us!

Have you ever tried to use that SFF and making a dubbing brush vs using the loop?
