I just received mine the other day. I folowed the manual and as soon as I plugged the battery in, my servos realeased the smoke!!! Do I need a new ESC?? All servos are dead....obviously. I foolishly installed 3 new ones and they tested fine. As I was picking up my tools, they too smoked!!! 😢
Sorry to hear this Paul. What battery are you using? Check the Polarity + to + & - to -, I am not saying this is you but there could be a mistake from the factory. If your servos are fried the ESC will be also. Following Bloggs it seems Fly Wing have lowered there QA levels and there are increasing reports of electrical failure. Where did you buy the Heli from? They should take this back and give you a replacement!!!
@@All_things_RC. The polarity is right. After I put them new servos in, everything worked fine. I was cleaning up and they smoked on there own. I'm waiting for Motion RC to get back to me
@@paulcason2426 good luck with Motion RC they are usually good with a no quibble policy. They are working at the moment because I have been discussing/ordering from them of the last couple of days. Out of interested I would appreciate it if you could let me know how it turns out.
I know where you are coming from. Even with the named blades they have to come from Japan. I have bought a Bell 206 fuselage for the helicopter and will definitely want plain black blades.
Thank you for your feed back and watching my channel. Just to confirm I have made the video in my shed (a wooden building) in my garden. I generally achieve a GPS signal due to the thin wooden walls however if not opening the door allows the link. Happy flying and successful landings.
This was not a problem I was aware of until a few days ago when I inverted the 450L. Spare parts have arrived and the 450L is ready to fly again. I have glued a carbon plate to the frame above the main drive cog which will stop it coming off again.
Thanks James I went down this route for two reasons 1, to see if heli flying was for me 2, The GPS makes it easier and less likely to keep crashing Yes its not a true heli but its a great introduction into the part of the sport
Nice heli buddy
Thanks 👍

@@All_things_RC. I will let u know!!!
hi pete watson . when I connect the H1 to the computer, this message appears: Unread . do you know the problem? If you know help me!
Hi do you have your transmitter on and the heli lipo connected before connecting your H1 controller to the software?
why you not buy the new Flysky FW450 V3
The V2 has more of a helicopter look the V3 is too futuristic for my liking.

Wait until you want rotor blades without the logo branding. I had to get them from Japan

I am surprised he got a satellite GPS connection inside his home, especially if he is in the basement.

aren't you afraid that the belt will come off

@@All_things_RC. do you have a picture
Most proper RC helis still come as a kit rather than prebuilt.
