I agree that JDW’s moment at the edge of the tub was Oscar worthy... because that vitriol the character had unloaded had scared him deeply, he knew he had gone too far and he was loosing her so he was desperate for her to know he Believes he loves her.... I wish JL’s performance would’ve been in a tighter crafted film, I liked moments and feel very much that all the actors gave their best within the confines of the film... it really comes down to the pacing and script feeling dated...
I just wanna hear John say “My man” He sounds just like his dad I’ve said that since day one. He’s worked hard to get where he’s at, they both have I hope to work with them One day!
I like how John David never refers to his father as his father it's always Mr Washington. Classy as hell. Just wanting to make it up your own esteem and not live in his shadow. I really think JDW has done that.
