Why did Wb studios (not montreal) have to work with rocksteady😭 They should have NEVER done that. Because now Rocksteady’s trust is gone, since they had to follow stupid WB studios corporate decisions that don’t know anything about what the fans want and what the Arkham franchise is, it is my childhood and it’s getting so much flames now because of SSKTJL (I haven’t played it only watched since I was hoping it would be good and remove the horrible story but no) and possibly Batman Arkham Shadows at this point. Sorry for this rant, just wanted to get some stuff out of my head, just seems like any studio would put the Batman Arkham name or have him in the game as a side character for profit and interest from the fanbase ( just like what you said). Good video man
Damn, folks at WB should really hate money at this point, you can literally make a game called: Man Ham Shadow with the same combat of Arkham knight just make a new story and everybody would buy it.
People are bitching way too much about this, bruh. For real. Get a job and earn money to get a META 3 then. Besides, the only way that VR is ever gonna grow as a console in the mainstream is through a big popular IP. And what better IP than Batman. If you search up the studio's webpage, you can tell that they care about the universe and legacy of this world. Also, There is no way this takes place slightly before or after Arkham Knight. First off, 2016's Arkham VR already has that covered. This game has to be in BETWEEN Origins and Ayslum. According to an Arkham Story in Arkham City, Ratcatcher is killed by Penguin before the events of City. Also, Batman's suit in this game is a no brainer as well. It looks like a hybrid of Origins and Ayslum's base suits rather than the metal armor of Knight, further indicating that this is a bridge in that time gap we don't see. Also, Roger Craig Smith, the voice of Batman in Origins and Blackgate, retweeted the trailer.
More power to you, I am happy that for the people that can play this game are excited for this project. I may be disappointed since I don't own or afford the headset myself. But, at the end of the day. I do hope it is a good game, and treats the characters with respect.
Scroll through the comments on the official video and tell me people didn't want this. lol As a fan of the Arkham series that plays mostly VR these days, this is a dream come true. Not just a little tech demo, but a full out Arkham game in VR.
What a disappointment. Warner Bros keeps letting down fans.
Have you even played the game for yourself?
@@TheHylian-fd6fn nobody wants another vr Batman game

Literally all Meta Quest owners wanted this game, and Meta Quest is mainstream in the VR market. VR owners can also be Batman fans.
@@Hostile-VR finally, somebody gets it

Person with a VR here. It's another Meta poach that i won't be able to play on my Index. It's a dud. It's a disappointment.
@@mac1991sethHave you even played the game to call it a "dud"?
@@TheHylian-fd6fn How can I not call it a dud if it ignores PCVR?
@@mac1991seth Blame Valve, not Meta, Valve is not developing PCVR, for 8 years they only made one game and one VR headset and they do nothing else
Yeah sorry not into VR, I think its a fad. Defintiley super disappointed, noone was asking for this, just noone asked for a live service suicide squad
