I Beat Phantylia Using Only Erudition Characters [Honkai: Star Rail]

- Phantylia can be quite a tough boss fight in Honkai: Star Rail. But what if you take away all potential support characters and ONLY using Erudition...
Well that's exactly what I tried to do, and after weeks of preparation, I succeeded.
Is it possible to beat the content of Honkai: Star Rail with ONLY Erudition Characters? That means the story, forgotten hall, simulated universe, etc.
With no sustain of any kind, it's definitely gonna be a challenge for us... And getting a Himeko on the account is all we can hope for with our first 5 star

Yea happened to me, had to restart the game twice. It sucked for me as i couldn't use skills and ult because im on mobile 💀
Yeah it happens to everyone after Phantylia. Just gotta log out and in and it fixes tho.

i swear Phantylia seems harder when i first did this fight, and yet she is still hard now 😭😭😭 (watching this makes it seem easy)
the story quest phantylia was hard for me. but having imaginary for stalling is so great for this fight.
Welt just demolishes her so I didn't have much of a problem with her.
My experience with Phantylia was... different. My game forced crashed on me because Phantylia couldn't kill Jingyuan... (Geppie and Luocha in one team) about three times...
@@mayarlis lol. if you dont have good gear, only effective elements work, i got lucky with welt but i rarely use him
She did like 3k damage on the second phase meteor cause I was trailblaze level 50😭

The elation on Jing Yuan's face at 11:45 is absolutely adorable and relatable after all that farming. (Totally not simping for this general)

Something I like about star rail is that the new characters that they release are used to fill in unused combos of elements and paths. An example is the recently drip marketed Argenti who is a physical Erudition character which we don’t have yet. Genshin has only been doing that recently it seems with the new dendro characters in version 3 and Wriothesely being the first cryo catalyst.
We still don't have a hydro greatsword or basically any damage dealer in geo element who isn't a greatsword and isn't a DEF scaler at the same time so yeah. Genshin sucks with this. Love star rail for not sucking so hard yet xD

Remember that in 1.5 Argenti, Physical erudition character will come in second half, so have a good luck when the time comes and try going for the lightcone
Exactly, and seems like he was lacking one physical erudition to beat kafka and quinque's boss so that's pretty good
Not sure the lightcone is worth it. Seriousness of breakfast is pretty good and you can superimpose for free. Though we don't know if that physical erudition dude scales off of atk yet
@@Safineya based on what I've seen so far, the lc is almost always worth it for every limitef character, kafka being the only exception. By the time argenti comes around he'll have enough pulls for both him and his lc

You had the right call to change your artefacts to beat up Phantylia congrats!
Little tip here, if you want to build Quingque, you can do the other bosses that you can do with ease and convert those boss mats into her boss mats instead, since beating her boss will be a pain for you currently.
I did that with kafka lmao I farmed the wrong boss mats for her so I was devastated until I found out i could convert boss mats :D
Just saying you better farm the Trace materials more since there's a new Erudition Character in 1.5 (Official Hoyo news)

I struggled so hard on her i was only left with my fu xuan but she did the job

@@xanthopsiatrue. It wasn't that hard for me. Maybeee i just got lucky and had bailu as my first 5* but i think even if i had used Natasha, i would've cleared it quite easily
She was annoying as hell but I can't complain anymore as I'll be fighting her a ton for my dear Fu Xuan

It's not a button that hides the ui, it can glitch out if you alt tab at the wrong moment.... i forgot which one but basically dont alt tab during combat or when your techniques are active.... (the ones with a limited duration so things like fire mc should be fine)
If worse comes to worst, you can switch between skill and normal atk with right click, and click on the enemy to attack them, using number buttons for ults (I'm not sure if it works in this case but it should).

I had the exact same UI bug right after fighting phantilya. It was fixed for me after just returning to the login page.

the swarm disaster thing took me by surprise when i first played it too bc i didnt even realize what id gotten myself into, i just went to talk to pompom for my level up rewards and accidentally got myself trapped in that whole ordeal for like 3 hours not prepared at all but also too stubborn to reset completely

If you have Problems with Healing in Simulated Universe you can use Abundance path in it and you‘ll get free heal

I've also had that glitch!!! I was so confused but luckily restarting the game worked for me as well. Also (not leaks, confirmed by HYV), there will be a Physical Erudition character in 1.5, so you'll have a place to yeet those jades and a character who can beat QQ's boss.
at this point might as well make asta an honorary erudition character lmao

Ive had the UI glitch before, very annoying but if anyone else gets it just restart the game. That’s what worked for me, also yes it can happen in boss fights and Story quests scripted fights so just pray it doesn’t happen and set you back like 20+ minutes lol

I had the same glitch happen to me during one of the quests. At first I thought maybe it was a quest specific thing but its just a glitch. You can fix it by logging in and out or just restarting the game.
Encountered the same UI glitch on my alt account a few days ago. Seems to be a glitch that happens sometimes after you first beat Phantylia, but I don't remember getting it on my main

There is a very specific combination of keys pressed that make the ui disappear and it was whatever you entered ofc.

I think the only reason I beat her is because I had Blade Silver wolf bronya and that purple healing dragon

Honestly, with everyone in genshin, you would think its weird for Hoyoverse to add any permanent content in the game anymore. Ive had many people told me "Wow, the new swarm disaster event is so fun", "when does it end?". But yeh, good job though with Phantylia, did not think you would beat her, but the Guard set was actually pretty smart, just enough survivability and honestly, probably would be alot better just to keep farming that set honestly. Since theres no other form of healing or shielding, the other set you could consider is the hackerspace set with the Longevous set, but yeh

Finally after a month eroudtion is back
You can still use your skill and burst even though you cant see the UI. Switch to Skill is E, back to basic is Q and burst is the number for the character

Java you don’t have to farm the same boss over and over because you can fight other bosses to earn the materials that you need
I had that UI glitch once, It was the exact same: no action bar, no health bar and i could only use basic attacks

the ui glitch happened to me once or twice, closing the game has always worked to fix it
You ready for Argenti? The erudition character that can do almost anything as much single target damage as a hunt character? (That may be an exaggeration but it’s not that far off)
