  • I've got quite a large car collection going these days, which is awesome, but the problem is I need to sell some things to make ends meet and that's a very difficult decision to make. What goes? Cars? Motorcycles? Bicycles? My sanity? Time to make some choices.

We fit a 1980 Honda 70 three-wheeler in the back of my Fiesta and took it to the lake. It was squeaky with the ATCs back tires squeezed inside the wheel wells in the back but it worked. Also a great car for doing paper routes as a kid. Hatch up, legs hanging out the back over the bumper, soles of your shoes scooting along the road over bumps, throwing newspapers to either side of the road. You take the right side, your brother the left.

I just subscribed to your channel. I appreciate your thoughts and I wish we were neighbors! I've got a 1980 Fiesta that I've been tinkering on for almost 2 years. I bought this farm in Connecticut just over 2 years ago and this thing was buried under the bittersweet. My cousin did a first start video on it and it is the best running car I own. Finding parts, especially brake parts has been a nightmare, but I'm getting there. I'm doing a low budget restoration on it, kind of making my version of an Americanized, euro rally car. I wish you all the best in your endeavors. I turned 63 in May. My love for cars in general, has always been strong. Some things hurt a little more when your older, so you just go a little slower and enjoy the ride. Oh, I've got a 71 Ranchero setting in the garage, too. That's a long story that came with the farm, too. It hasn't been on the road since 1977. I actually worked on it when I was 17 in a body shop. Anyway, good luck and all the best to you and yours! Keep plugging away. I think your channel is going to really take off!

I have nearly the exact same spitfire, same colour exterior and interior, only difference is mine has a rear rack and no roll bar, its unbelievably close to being put on the road, it runs great, the body and paint are absolutely great, I'll get it on the road soon but for now I've been learning how to drive manual in it around my backyard

Justin! So happy to see this new content. We still miss you over on IG, but I get it. I dont post there much myself, but I do browse and communicate. For my next Europe Hot Mini's update, should I make a YT video for you?? I am impressed with the scripting, the editing, and I cant promise I can get that level. Probably nowhere near....
Glad to see a sign of life too. Very nice little collection, and I wish you best of luck with goal 1 and subpoint B :). Curious to see what the other 2 (more) recent vids will unveal!
    Best regards from Denmark!

Since you won't sell the Fiesta, maybe you should give it to me. On second thought, the Mrs may not appreciate me disappearing into the garage every day for the next several years . . . . . never mind.

These are starting to come out of the woodworks in the US. Join the MK1 Fiesta US group on Facebook and I bet you'll have one before long. Or maybe that's playing with fire 😆
