the droplet method for identifying ridges is not clear for me ? :/
I don't see the difference with the valley!!!

It may depend whether the water flows in inward direction or outward direction, if flow outward then it is ridge and if flow inward then it is valley as my opinion

For valley, multiple streams eventually merge into one stream; whereas for ridge, water flows downward on all sides of a ridge.
