I loved the BBT era with both Dave Gregory and David and had the pleasure to see BBT live on numerous occasions and to spent time in the company of both wonderful musicians and as people. David is much loved and missed. XX

@lhair02 Liam Hair's the man who made it happen. Imagine my surprise when he offered me this interview to edit/publish. YES I'LL DO IT lol.

Wonderful interview. The bit about David Longdon at the end was incredibly moving.

Great to hear Dave's stories. His guitar playing on BBT (my favourite band) is sublime! To me he was an integral part of BBT - never a guest!

What an extraordinary way of working, remotely. Firstly to credit The player, to get the feel of a record in isolation is quite incredible, but for the purists, the idea of remote working in art is really sad in many ways. I have a thought that the interactions of humans with a task at hand, not a kind of wandering theory which allows people to piss around in a studio without an end result, should be the objective and ideal of any band. But perhaps that’s not going to allow people to make records due to the cost.
But for me, art, music should override cost.
