  • In this quick Playlist Intro video we introduce you to our #meiji era traditional Japanese house, built in 1868, that we purchased through the #akiyabank system. We plan to renovate the house using DIY and transform it from #akiya to beloved home.
Buying a house in Japan as a foreigner certainly had it's challenges but it is an achievable goal with the right attitude and a little bit of help from the right people. There is so much to understand about the process to make it as seamless as possible and to integrate with the community once (or even before) you have the keys in your hand.
We will share our real experience of buying property in Japan on a tourist visa, as non-residents. Our house purchase was conducted from Australia, although we did visit Japan to inspect the house before committing to buy. All of this will be explained in our upcoming video that details the process, costs and timeline, highs and lows of buying an empty or abandoned #akiya #kominka house in Japan.
Japan has truly captured our hearts and we are very excited to be sharing our DIY renovation adventure with you all...
    Thanks for watching!

Hello, I m a french woman but I can t speak english. Please ca you read and translate my message? Thank you so much for your help and your advise🙏🇨🇵
