Easy Cherry Bush Propagation

- In this video, I create an additional ten Bush Cherry plants to add to my collection. I'm not sure if I'll plant them here or send them to new homes, but now I've got options! Just by removing some suckers and lifting one I layered earlier, I potted up ten clones from one of our Bush Cherry plants. Soon I'll do some air layering and grafting too!

Ok. I admit it, form the time I found your channel Buddy Pepper has had my heart! It was so enjoyable to see him take over the pots and separate them without being asked. As you mentioned, he is only three and most probably knows more about gardening than some of us adults! God Bless

@@PapaPepper we have had some setbacks since moving to the new place so I have been working hard to figure out how to get more systems in place. But we are pushing forward with faith that all will be as it should.

We actually picked all the fruit when it was younger and are still letting the plant develop. I'll see if I have some pics though.

I love cherries trees but the birds are relentless and never like to leave me any cherries.
I threw netting over my cherry trees and the birds do not like to land on it.
Wonder how they would grow in south Texas. LOL I guess I'll have to look into it.

Did it work out? I have these Hansen’s bush cherries I’m trying because I have no space for trees. I got 2 bareroot stock and they are growing at my new home. I’d love to propagate a couple more out.
Yes it did, I have many more growing right now, and a whole roll I put in in another location
What variety is your bush cherry?
We have a couple varieties, I'll have to look back and see what kind this one was.
@@PapaPepper The reason I asked is I am interested in planting some and wanted to know which variety grows best in zone 7b. Arkansas River Valley area.
@@Memetena1 Cool! Similar growing area to mine. I've got look back at some things to sort it out and get the exact answer on which one that was. I'll try to take care of it within the next couple of days.

@@PapaPepper physically we are all fine. Just trying to find rides to and from work to get the funds together for another car is the hard part. But the Lord will provide, I just have to keep the faith.
