    Hi Dr Jo, I am so happy when I saw this video this morning. I was in so much pain last night and early this morning. I wasn’t sure if I was able to exercise today. I was stretching while watching your video and oh my goodness what an instant relief. And had a good workout today and I will need to stretch again tonight. You are a heaven sent. Thank you so much for the stretches and all the other information you share with us. It does really work….❤❤❤❤❤

    Thank you, I think it worked a bit..
    It started when after getting up from a laying position, took a couple steps bend a bit to write something down.. and BAM💥 My lower back, glutes and down my left leg.. I was hunched down, couldn't straighten up bc of the pain.. I said, to myself WTFLIP! All I did was write something down, no twisting at all..
    I then decided, NO.. I refuse to be like this. I started arching my back, and brought my left leg back as well.. This got me back up, but the pain was a bit much, so your Portable Stick on TENS, put it on Mode 1 for pain Level 8 and did your exercises.. Again, thank you.💕

    Hi dr i was in pain for 2 years after twisting my ankle and still i have pain..
    So i did my mri scan and the results are..
    Mild ankle joint effusion and talar neck focal edema....
    Do i need any surgery or it can be fixed by excercises..

    For the last 4 days my lower back has been feeling like it’s broken every time I try to get out of bed. Can’t even sit up and I have to gradually get myself up by holding things. The weird thing is when I stand up for a while the pain subsides and will only feel nerve pains here and there. Scared to lay down again and go thru the getting up process all over again

    i got ankle sprain turned to knee hip back neck pain ,i not used full foot for month during ankle sprain,i got treated for ankle not ankle joint,which have pain for many months,then after month knee and other parts paining
    i consultant many ortho physiotherapist neurologist,some say it's Patellofemoral patellar tendon,some say it causing by back ,i done mri of ls spine report is normal but doctor said it's l5s1 herniated,
    i have 24h dull pain in knee what is reason help me
    it's been year ,i m 25

      It depends on what is causing the APT.

    as long as I can remember when doing the seated figure 4 stretch (or just casually sitting like that) my left non-dominant side has always been way more flexible than my dominant right side. On the left side I'm able to bring my leg down until it's parallel to the floor, on the right side I can only achieve about a 35° angle.
    any tips on how to improve flexibility there?

      It depends on what is causing the lack of motion. Does it feel like muscle tightness, or tightness in the joint itself?

      @@AskDoctorJo it feels like the joint is just not able to rotate as much as the other. I can push it a bit further down using my hand but it's nowhere near as parallel as the other leg

      Same here, but I’m 20. Tore a muscle in my back at basketball practice after pulling the muscle. You just gotta stay consistent and take it day by day. Also you gotta figure out what cause the pain in the first place.
