    This place is so sad. I think people often forget the sacrifices that the civilians made. Going about their daily lives, doing the best thy can to run businesses and raise families, only to have everything they know destroyed by war. Thank you Rob for sharing this. 😢

    Reminds me of Winchester, Virginia. During the US Civil War, it changed hands about 70 times. Fortunately Winchester wasnt destroyed but some of the old buildings still have battle damage.

    Excellent video, Rob. I cannot imagine the trauma that the people of Fleury endured with the death, violence, destruction, and gas. It is heartbreaking, especially with the monuments marking where the school was as well as where the baker worked. So much loss and pain.

    What a terrible story you just shared. So hard to believe stories just as this were repeated again 20 years later.
