- This little house has been completely left with everything still inside after they both sadly passed away.. This is probably as good as a time capsule can get!. There is no vandalism… Nothing has been staged for photos… the house even has power still on!! I only noticed when i walked pass a small heater which was still very slightly on! An absolutely beautiful little house… completely lost In Time!…

Those bathroom tiles with pictures of birds are wonderful.
On the length of time unoccupied, in the food cupboard there are newspapers used to line the shelf, one of which is dated April 2019.
What a gorgeous, cosy little place. Just the right size for a retired couple. I really hope no one else ever finds this property and trash it, or rob the contents. It needs to be left how the owners left it. Mind you there’s serious subsidence. Just such a shame. Thanks you for finding this lovely property 💖❤️💖
Aww so sad, makes you realise how vulnerable we all are when we reach old age 😢
I bet it was full of love at one time, still looks quite dust free considering possibly amount of time it’s been sat.
What a great little house and like you said so nice to see no vandalism and stuff , top job as normal
That's a lovely little house Colin and so nice to not see it trashed. Fingers crossed its not trashed now after your visit. Remarkable how clean the sideboard surface was in the sitting room, didn't look to have any dust on it xx
@3 mins lovely old crocheted throw, hand made and probably indicative of elderly occupants. The coal box at 4.50 is an antique. @6.45 someone has been in there, that builders acro holding up the roof looks like a recent installation. @8.08 one of the postcards looks like a cockpit view of maybe a B-29 superfortress. The black marks above the wall heaters are a common feature with that form of heating. With the power on, heater running, not a huge amount of dust on the furniture, no signs of mould or damp on the clothes, the acro in the lean-to ...someone is looking after that place.
Darling little place. I love explores where everything is in its place and no one's trashed the place. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing nice little house take care my friend ❤ 😊
How sad it still looks tidy.😔
Oh wow how sad,but a lovely little lived-in home and no Graffiti, well your done it again lovely find 👏👏👏👏
So lovely to see this little old house as it was left, with no vandalism. They must have been very happy as I can see the house and contents were cherished, they pribably worked very hard to get what they had and took great pride with there meager possessions. Thank you for showing this, well done 💕🇦🇺
WHAT A GOOD FIND,THE BOX WITH COAL IN IS CALLED A COAL SCUTTLE,ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS,THANKS
What a sweet little house. Just a quick glance around and you could almost think the folks had just stepped out. It's only with a closer look that you see the dust and the cobwebs. I can't believe how many houses in England still have electricity after being empty for decades.
Some still have water as well😊
Heart breaking when you see very few worldly belongings.
My son’s will have a field day when I die.I told them not to cry but to celebrate my life for one day only and then go and spend your inheritances.I’m sure it won’t take long to forget about me.
🤣😂🤣😂
So sad, but such a change to see decay taking hold and not vandalism x
Beautiful find!!Thank you for sharing!
What a sweet little home. Just shows that you don't need large extravagant to be perfectly happy and comfortable. Great reading material next to the bed in the blue room. I didn't know them, but I like them.
What a humble abode... and very gracefully explored .... possessions are futile only love and memories live on.
Amazing to see the house has been left in the way they left it. I really hope it gets looked after and treated right.
What an amazing home, completely untouched for years. It is a real time capsule
Great video 👍
Beautiful house with so many memories left behind very sad. I hope some family will claim some of the belongings and hope the house doesn’t get trashed.
I would have checked the sell by dates on the food, it would give a good idea how long it has been empty.
Yeah man, some of that food in the cupboard hasn't been out for that long
There was a book on the closet "2008"
that's the 2016 co op logo as well so it hasn't been empty that long
2019 newspaper on the shelf of the larder.
@@patm8622 Well spotted, I thought it had not been empty for that long, looking at the foodstuffs.
Excellent Little Pl., Colin! Loved it. They were very neat and tidy. Definitely no frills. Fantastic time capsule. Thank you. Love from California💜🤟🏻😎🇺🇸🇺🇦🕊
What an amazing find.
Thanks for sharing.
such a colorful little place with the carpet and wallpapers. Oddly there's not dust on much of anything, almost looks like someone is taking care of it
How lovely that nothing is trashed so nice to c but a sad house wonder what the story is
What a gem to find not many like that stood untampered, what really hit me was wall paper in hallway my Dad and mum had same wallpaper in another house in late 80s in there hallway. And kitchen remind me of my grannies kitchen.
Certainly an elderly couples place, it just has that vibe. So untouched, I love that there are places that haven't been rifled through and vandalised out there, it leaves such a perfect time capsule. Sad to think that it could collapse soon with all those major structural cracks. Does look like the huge crack in the purple bedroom had previously been filled in when the couple had lived there.
Wow that’s some serious subsidence. The way the cracks are even through the fireplace. Great find xx
Quite a warm room!!! it would be, the heater has been on 24/7 for years! 😂
Lovely old house. Way too many cracks. Not good. Fantastic find. Glad no vandals have been there. Happy Easter to you and yours.
Whoever owned this house was very houseproud, even after all this time, you can tell that house would of been spotless.
Awesome to see the house in good condition thanks 👍
What a lovely house, a proper time capsule. It’s a kind of memorial to the people who once called it home. When we move on from this life, all material possessions are left behind as reminders that we were here. So sad that this house has been left to fall into disrepair. It’s incredible that the power is still connected . I hope that nobody comes and trashes this property .
Awesome
Brilliant Colin, and literally as if they just left.. probably the heating has been a big contribution.
What nice little gem
It's a lovely little home.
Just lovely.
Such a beautiful wee place luv your wee finds xx
Just recently found your channel and I'm hooked, I just love the way you care and respect everything that has sadly been left behind its awful when people go rummaging threw and trash the places and it makes me so sad that no one cares about all the little bots and bob 😔
Please can you show things in more detail? The tins of food & the dates, the books, there were some photo albums too would have been interesting to see them
Cool video Colin shame the house has bad subsidence issues real time capsule too ..looking forward to your next video ...cheers 👍
Our old house had the same Creda Ti storage heaters lol
Mate your back bloody awesome 👏
Looks like a proper Grandma/Grandad house or maybe a little holiday place and they just havent been back for awhile .Literally looks like they left intending to come back but havent.Nice to see a place where noones been there trashing it.Nice little find Colin.Happy Easter to you.x
It looks as if they are due home at any point you would never know it’s abandoned xx
I agree it actually looked very tidy.
What a sweet house. If someone doesn't salvage the bird tiles in the bath they're foolish.
Nice exploring on this one , less is more !!!! Note that alot of the draws where ajar slightly, so some one has gave it a spin !!!! There was two cans of Stella in the cupboard so the poor little bloke did not get to finish his beer , or the bottle of whisky!!!! Nice work Mr beard 👌
Judging from the date on magazines/books and the modern day tooth paste cap next to the modern tooth brushes this cute little home was occupied as late as 2008 or 2009.
Hi Colin! Great little home but a shame it has so many structural cracks. Like you said it will probably fall in on itself. Thanks for sharing. Take care
Great little explore Colin
You would think the utilities company would chase up payment for the electric bill seeing it’s still connected, crazy to waste energy like that , great little house , thanks Colin.
Very nice to see no vandalism or trashed mess. I liked that house 😉
Thx for sharing your experience with us
There is lump in my throat-- watching this Video 😟
Now that was as near perfect as you could get for a time capsule, well done on finding it and sharing it, take care my man
What an amazing home so sad imagine buying it to live in that would be so amazing.
Stunning again
A great find.
Always cool looking at your videos keep making them 👍👍
What a charming little house wonderful it’s not been trashed . I’m wondering did you turn the heater off lol
nice find. i reckon its been left for less than 5 years as some of the modern tins and the power still being on
Judging by the papers in the pantry, looks like its only been left a few years. Pretty sure the Pep Guardiola picture was him at Man City
This is fascinating and amazing to see you would think there people that lived there had just go down the shop ,and it is just like my nan,s house, it makes me very sad and emotional, because that was once someone's home , but its good to see it hasn't been trashed by mindless idiots , and it does bring back wonderful memories of visiting my nan that I miss every day ,brilliant 👍
Wish you would look at dates on tins or bottles to a rough date when it was left empty
Great find Colin 👍🏻. I hope the little house stays as you found it. Such a shame that the house is ongoing movement, might need underpinning to save it.
Hi Colin.
That was a cool video.
Those drink coasters were a charity thing a few years ago so it can't be too long.
The penguin ones in the living room.
The crack in the wall of the purple bedroom looks to be filled in and painted over at one point. This house must have had structural problems for a long time.
What a sweet home. It was loved once you can tell. I think I would have turned the heater off just incase of fires. I really admire the way you look around with such care and still keeping the place like it was. Respect.
Amazing property, shame its falling apart structurely
It's really amazing how clean everything still is in the house. It is a charming little place. I loved the book storage with the glass doors. That would look great in my bedroom!
Great video, maybe could of turned off the heater at the switch?
Some of those food labels look quite modern.
Must have been into Archaology, broken pottery on mantlepiece, row of excavation books on shelf.
What a great time capsule, untouched by idiots. Such a sad place aswell, to think everything will probably end up in the landfill before demolition of the place. That intro music just seems to fit so right with these type of finds, or is it just me that thinks that. Great video Colin.
It can't have been that long ago because those pint sized cans of Stella are a fairly recent thing.
Great video Colin and very respectful of the property and like you said it probably is going to get pull-down hopefully some of the items can be saved
Great video Colin what a find amazing 👍
My granddad had a dressing gown like that! My only complaint is that you didn't feature those awesome bird tiles in the bathroom, I've never seen tiles like those before 😍😮 Beautiful wee time capsule place ❤️
Amazed that the power is still on. That electric heater would cost a fortune being kept on for years!
Also, the sideboard with the books looked really clean... no dust. Strange.
Dust is usually dead skin cells, they probably showered regularly leaving little dust to settle.
I wonder who foots the bill for that electric
@@ryanfinch9281 I thought the same!
great video, such a shame , no children, property and items going to government as building being demolished and plans in place such a shame , subsidence ,years ago only had stones as a base to build on ,some I've known clay build on many years ago .
below surface streams can erode and substructure great shame .
Water is probably going down the down pipes but not down the drains that are probably blocked with leaves so plenty water for trees to flourish.
Are you sure theyre gone? There's no dust on anything that I can see.
And a modern pink toothbrush I think an old person that has died last week
I don't think it's abandoned! Definitely old folks that live there. They could have gone away for a couple of months - hence food in the cupboard and empty fridge and heating on to keep the chill out of the house.
There are a lot of people commenting on why there is very little dust. Dust is mainly made up of human skin, and no humans have been there for what appears to be about 14 years.
It literally is a time capsule.
Noticed at 8:00 there’s a possible clue as to how long it’s been abandoned. On the book it says 2008/9.
That's a journal from a society, most likely kept by the subscriber.
The coal storage box might have well been a foot stove. I remember my grandparents having one.
What’s one of them? You light the coal and put your feet on it?😊
This was a well organized home and so nice. To bad it is left to decay. Thank you for showing it.
I don't think this one has been left that long, some fairly recent cupboard goods in there
I hope you turned the power of at the meter. Great video.
The cracks in the house can sometimes be due to un used mine shafts going under the house.
It has happened a lot in Wales
Was it just me or did the camera seem to be zoomed in. Felt a bit different to the other videos. Great find and another great video 👍🏻
Do you think it’s possible someone cleaned the bed after the ceiling fell down above it.
That wallpaper is so beautiful.
The structural situation is the other way round. The walls are not sinking into the ground and damaging the floor, the floor has given way and consequently the walls have shifted, causing those cracks.
r.i.p to the owners
For some reason I saw a bright orange sticker with you on it in Gosport so now I'm here LOL
so sad
